Pac had ALL of last year to accept but didn't. Even after Hatton, Pac could have fought Shane.

Fighting Cotto no longer matters when he was brutally knocked out and lost his title to Margarito. Margarito was brutally knocked out and lost to Shane who took the "Man" title at 147.
