        He got lucky he got a DQ, had the fight continued he could have been knocked out. True story.

            I did. And once Cotto was hit clean....he went into survival mode. Although he tends to do that anyway for the most part until he can recover. It is a credit to Manny because he has the ability to capitalize on it like others weren't able to do. Certain fighters I've always felt would have beaten Cotto because they were better finishers than some of the fighters he faced (or when he faced them...like Shane). Even at 140, I never felt Arum would ever let him in the ring with Kostya Tszyu...even that version that was fighting at that time.

            Look at the Clottey fight as well...same fight that had many talking about where Cotto was at after Margarito.

            Still not the same. Different trainer as well.

            Shane also had the fight at 147 and didn't need to put it in the mind of Cotto to be at 145. And if it didn't matter with weight...why bother?


            All this still has me thinking "what if"...Tommy Hearns or Ray Leonard were in their prime right now at 147.
