cotto that fought pacquiao was not damaged goods or weight drained... cotto was clearly 100% in that fight and had no signs of that sortComment

Did he or didn't he have a brutal KO loss to Margarito when he fought Pac?
Did he have any losses when he fought Shane?
So how is that the same fighter at 100% that fought Shane Mosley to a close win?
Did he or did he not have a poor showing (despite winning) against Clottey?
Same match Freddie Roach, Teddy Atlas, and others talked about Cotto not being the same fighter and could have lost that fight if Clottey pressed more?
Why didn't Pac fight Shane who beat Margarito who brutally beat Cotto?
Shane was coming off a great victory winning the title from Margarito who brutally beat Cotto for his title.Comment

You failed school.
Was that the same version of Cotto?
Where was Cotto's "O"?
Where was Cotto's Title? With Margarito.

Freddie Roach: Miguel Cotto not the same since knockout
According to Roach, whether Margarito had cheated in his fight with Cotto is irrelevant — the impact on Cotto’s mentality is the same.
“It doesn’t matter if Margarito did it in that fight or not, a fighter is still not the same following a knockout like that,” Roach said.

And this:
"I don't think he's the same fighter," Roach, who trains Pacquiao, said of Cotto. "You watch him before, you watch him after, he's not the same. Maybe his confidence has grown back, but when you get knocked out for the first time in your life, and take a beating like that, mentally it has to affect you. It affects everybody. Everybody asks how you come back from that."
"He's not the same guy," Roach said. "He's slower. He makes mistakes. He has no coach to adjust his mistakes. He ****s his left hand before he throws it, he telegraphs his punches now, and he doesn't have anyone to correct him."
The trainer said he doesn't think Cotto has had enough time.
"I had 27 fights before I got knocked out for the first time, and it changed my life," Roach said. "I was never quite as confident. I wasn't invincible. When you lose for the first time, it definitely affects you.
"And the thing is, the punishment he took in that fight was severe. He took a bad beating in that fight. And sometimes, you never come back from a beating like that.
