Again, the logic doesn't work out because that was a Prime/undefeated version of Cotto. Pac got Cotto after he was brutally beaten and lost his title. Plus, Shane wasn't schooled; it was a close fight.

So how is that the same fighter at 100% that fought Shane Mosley to a close win?

Same match Freddie Roach, Teddy Atlas, and others talked about Cotto not being the same fighter and could have lost that fight if Clottey pressed more?

According to Roach, whether Margarito had cheated in his fight with Cotto is irrelevant — the impact on Cotto’s mentality is the same.

“It doesn’t matter if Margarito did it in that fight or not, a fighter is still not the same following a knockout like that,” Roach said.
