Hamed was basically just like pacquiao. They werent technically gifted but they both relied on their athleticism, power, & speed The only difference is pac relied on his incredible will power, chin, & aggression while hamed relied on his relfexes. other than those differences they were basically the same.

The thing that separates both is that pac took on elite opposition while hamed took on bums & a couple of good fighters then when he stepped up to elite level completely got dominated.

Dont talk as if hamed was this technical master at 126. He wasnt. Pacquiao was a physically superior fighter compared to hamed & his aggression & will power would snuff hamed.

    HAMED STANDS NO CHANCE WHATSOEVER.

dont even try to argue with these so called boxing experts/historians in the forums

pac can never win fantasy matches according to their 'vast' knowledge of the sport

I agree with everythiing except the fact that Hamed had the better chin and also was a bigger puncher and KO power in both hands. In a brawl, which is what this would have been, that version of Pac gets knocked out.

If I told you a guy who throws himself off balance, smothers himself during flurries with his opponents against the ropes, crosses his arms up at times, doesn't have the best chin, but has speed and great power

        faught....

A guy who is really difficult to hit, throws himself off balance, has equal speed and good power.

Would you say the former or the latter wins? Honestly, no names. Just honestly from the style match up. It could be Khan and Valero I am talking about, who knows. No names, who wins?

        listen to the boxing 'expert'

Awesome post man. Definitely agree with the 1st and 4th paragraphs.

Mayweather is arguably the most skilled fighter ever. Pac fans save your hate, but it's true. Floyd has mastered the art of counter punching, and not getting hit. Naseem is no Floyd Mayweather but he gets talked about as if he has a similar style and that's not the case.

He was 1 dimensional and the main difference between him and Floyd is that Floyd has the best defense in history and Naz had none.

Hamed was the same way, but the difference is Hamed had KO power in both hands and could knock people out cold even when he was off balance. To engage Hamed was pure suicide and with the way Manny was always off balance after throwing his left hand, he would have gotten stopped by Hamed.

I mean just go look at the Hussein fight and Nedal had him on ***** street and even dropped him with his left hook. That was Naseem's money punch and Pac had no defense for it back then.

This version of Pac crushes him, but not the one at 126.
the hussein fight was at 122. the thread question was who wins at 126.

best version of pac at 126>>>> best version of hamed at 126.

Who did hamed knock out that was noteworthy? a glass chinned weak kevin kelley? sanchez?

At least someone understands what I am saying. It's not like I am hating on Pac. I bet on him to beat Cotto and Hatton for heaven's sake. Ask O'bannon who I made a bet against him with. Cotto or Pacquiao.

Hamed's style is just too much for that version of Pacquiao. This new Pacquiao we got dominating right now would cremate Hamed.

But at least someone sees what i am seeing. I'm done in this thread now. Its just going in circles with a ******* comming once in a while calling me names.

There are too many other variables, and Manny doesn't have a weak chin.

                Erase names but consider this.

Fighter A ducked all elite competition. He fought one great fighter and lost 11 rounds then retired.

Fighter B fought the toughest competition out there, all ATG's, and destroyed them all in spectacular fashion, including the guy who beat Fighter A for 11 rounds.

                Which fighter wins?

Listen I understand that. Im just saying that due to Pac always being off balance after throwing his left hand, he was open to left hooks. I brought up the hussein fight because that is what Nedal was catching him with and hurting him.

again the best version of manny gets KO'd by Hamed at 126. I love Manny but he was not even close (at 126) to the fighter he is now. Manny is a machine and this generations best fighter, but the things that make him great...he really didn't possess back then.

Please, you have to explain this to me. I'm dying to know why you think the Manny that fought tougher competition at 126 than he's fought in the past 3-4 years gets KO'd by a guy like Hamed.

You haven't backed up anything you've said. Manny made mistakes here and there in the ring, but he was still the greatest fighter at 126 at the time.
