lol thanks for telling me what i think and i just told you why i think he will shock the world mosley has been in with better fighter's then mayweather no one that mayweather has been in the ring with would have a chance against forest wright hoya or cotto so please i don't understand why you can give mayweather so much praise and down play mosley and his chances i really feel you want mayweather to win so you don't take any of these thing's into account but once again win mosley shock's the world and you lol i wonder what you will say then

Mayweather has never previously been in the ring with fighters of the caliber of Wright and Forrest. With the exception of marquez (who was fighting way out of his weight class), de la hoya (who was clearly past it), and zab judah(who's mental ineptitude is well documented)hasn't fought a top tier fighter in the mold the of winky and vernon. Fighters like gatti, corrales, castillo etc are predominantly come forward blood and guts fighters that aren't blazing fast. A defensive fighter as skilled as floyd, has little problems with such opponents.

It remains to be seen how floyd will do against an opponent that posses a combination of: mental toughness, ring savvy, the ability to use the jab, height advantage (or both a height and reach advantage), above average quickness, all while not being washed up.

Its hard to rate defense because they are all good. But how I got Floyd is this:

Reflexes

He can block with his gloves

He can block combos

He can stay on the ropes and not get hit

He can be thisclose to you and not get hit

He even uses the high guard well.

Hes the total package defensively. Very, very skilled.

But, Burner he has not proven it against other ATG's and I would really love to debate but I can't not with you because when it comes with Floyd with you is a waste of time... But, that is your opinion and you have every right to it...

He does gets love amongst HWs. But, comparing him to all time when every division is hard to put him up there... There is so many great defensive fighters who proved it against better comp....

The only other ATG around Floyds weight class that he has a chance to fight is Manny. Im just rating skills ofocurse he didnt fight 10 ATGs still doesnt take away from his skill level and thats what I based my list on I didnt even factor in resume.

When Floyd retired I had him right outside my top 50 all time. Somewhere between 50-60. Coming back in beating JMM did nothing in my book for me to move him up. Now if he beats Shane and then beats Pac in the future then he really does move up higher in my list...

I think Floyd will win this fight. I do think Shane has a chance. But, I think Floyd jab, speed, defense, movement would give Shane trouble. I think Shane will have success in spots with his strength, reach, and his power. I think Floyd was be kinda shocked since it has been awhile that Floyd has fought somebody that holds all those 3 advantages over him. I also felt that his reflexes and timing were off a bit in the JMM fight. I don't know if it was due cuz he was rusty or cuz he is getting older and his reflexes are not what they use to be. JMM landed some shots that you don't land Mayweather. Is Floyd couldn't get out of the way. And, if Shane lands Floyd will not smile at them like he did against JMM who did not have the power to hurt him at that weight. But, at the end of the day I think at this stage of their careers Floyd is just a little bit quicker in pulling the trigger. And, I think that will give Floyd the edge against Shane

i can respect that but i think the fact that shane has been in with animals will make the difference in this fight when is the last time mayweather was in with an animal that had the skill to test him?mosley has never stop testing himself and that's why i have mosley in this one

msley is a atg he just not rank high at this point i have floyd rank higher then mosley and pac rank higher then both of them so he still has a chance and he has atg to fight

oh yea and maybe mayweather would be higher on everyone's list if he got in the ring with real ww
