Judah was not a ww.He was a jr ww who was fighting at ww.so he was in with one ww which was baldy lol.hoya was for the past decade a jr mw.I gave him full credit for handing it to hoya.so he has been in with one elite fighter and one real ww soo how could you say this man is a atg and not shane ?shane took on all comer's and won some and lost some but mayweather would not have got in the ring with none.

I wasn't even talking about the first Castillo fight. I was talking about the rematch when Floyd was healthy and Castillo was competitive. Floyd clearly won the fight but it was no schooling. Castillo is just a poor man version of Chavez and you saw how Whitaker handled him with ease. Way easier then what Floyd handled Castillo... Floyd was in tough against Agustus, Whitaker wouldn't have been fought a verison of Agustus in Jorge Paez and Whitaker had an easier time, Jesus Chavez with his volume punching in throwing a 100 punches a round was giving Floyd fits in spots. Whitaker would have handled that dude with ease. A past prime Whitaker did just as good agaist a prime Oscar then what a prime Floyd did against a past prime Oscar IMO... I also think that version of Julio Cesar Vazquez at 154 was better than that version of Oscar at 154 that Floyd.

And, then you start to add wins over Buddy McGirt, Jose Luis Ramirez, Azumah Nelson, Greg Haugen. And, you witnessed how he handled them. Then IMO point of view it is silly to say Floyd is a better defensive fighter.

Jro thats what Im saying they have two different styles of defense We comparing apples and oranges. They dont fight anything alike. Styles makes fight. Floyd does try to make people miss like Nell does. STYLES makes fight. They have 2 different styles. You juts taking fights that Floyd "struggled" in and saying well Nell wouldnt have done that. How do we know that. You have to fight the fights. Floyd wouldnt loss to NONE of the guys that Nell lost to EVER. What does it mean? Nothing.

Mayweather didnt start his career 2007 man. He was boxing 11 years before that.

Just score the fights... A past prime Whitaker did just as good IMO with a prime Oscar then what a prime Floyd did with a past prime Oscar.... If that right there is not some kind of proof of who is the better denfisive fighter even though with the different styles then I don't know what else is...

Thats my thing there is no way to tell. They have two completely different styles of defense and styles of fighting altogether. Only way I can think of is rating their defensive qualities as a whole and seeing what they are good at.
