Shouldn’t Mayweather be applauded for wanting testing for PEDs?

Why does he owe anybody an explanation for turning down Dallas? Would any explanation have been good enough? Your phrase "sudden change of heart" implies that they were on board all along. It was my understanding that Texas was only one of the venues being considered, along with Vegas.Comment

I think you need to go back and do some research before we continue the conversation.Comment

Why not? He certainly doesn't tire of explaining his stand on the blood(y) issue. They were indeed on board in checking all the possible venues and then on the day they were supposed to tour the facility they had a "sudden change of heart" and canceled their participation of the tour at the very last minute. It was such a surprising move on Floyd's part that it upset Bob something fierce and let his son in law do the rest of the negotiations.
I guess we have to agree to disagree.Comment

The US Anti-Doping Agency doesn't require 14 days. That was a Floyd compromise they were against. They require random testing up until the day of the event.Comment

Was USADA going to go with the 14 day cutoff date? Or was another agency going to do it since it had a cutoff date? Because, I remember USADA saying they will not do a cutoff date. But, I am not sure if they changed there mind or not...Comment

Please correct me if i'm wrong, but wasn't it random URINE testing up to the fight night they were requiring? And wasn't Manny more than willing to submit himself to it, even a blood test right after the fight?Comment

I see it very differently. Do you really think that his son-in-law was heading those negotiations? Bob Arum removed himself from his official capacity so that he could talk BS in the press during the "mediation" process so that he would not be in breach of the proceedings. Bob may be a liar, but he is not ******.
