Mayweather is risking his perfect 0 and risking his $40-50 million fight against Manny by taking this fight.

Why the **** would he fight Shane again if he beats him before fighting Manny? He would fight Manny if he beats Shane... only an idiot would fight Shane again before fighting Manny because he would have to fight him a 3rd time if Shane wins.

You also have to remember Floyd is risking his career and future earnings by taking this fight.

Mosley has nothing to lose and has everything to gain. He can fight other WW's if he loses, but he can fight Money or Manny if he wins.

I don't know here where I disagree... If Floyd losses right... How does that diminish Pac-Floyd? How is that fight anymore different? I know what you saying and the majority will agree with you... but, I hate that in the era will live now that after 1 lost it diminishes everything now... Is not like Shane is a scrub you know? Shanes GBP contract also runs out after the Floyd fight.

So the re-match clause was a stroke of genius IMO by Floyd and GBP.

What if Mosley wins and leaves GBP after the fight to fight Manny? GBP would lose millions. GBP will make millions, even if Mosley's win, or loses by having him fight Money again, or Money fights Manny later in the year.

You have to remember anything can happen in boxing and you only need one lucky punch to punch. Floyd can get a nasty cut or injure his hands during the fight. The rematch clause is a smart move by Floyd and GBP.
