Nah man, that fight was not a robbery. He did not blow DLH out of the water, he won a few more rds but did not make DLH look like he did not belong in the same ring. If they are fighting in Vegas, Floyd would likely be the one to get a favor if you know what I mean. I'm sure there is some strategic reasoning behind it but I don't picture May as the kind of guy to normally request a rematch clause. Just seems a little funny to me that's all.

If Shane beats Floyd he would go after Pacman.

With the clause in Place Pac is frozen out.

Shanes GBP contract also runs out after the Floyd fight.

So the re-match clause was a stroke of genius IMO by Floyd and GBP.

Floyd, Shane, and Pacquiao are the biggest names at WW.

Who else can Manny fight and make over $15 million for one fight?

well its just an example. Maybe like Shane won the first 3 rounds but Floyd has figured him out and won the last 2 but can continue because of the cut and now he loses on the cards 3-2 even though everyone felt he clearly had the momentum. Maybe Floyd beats Shane fairly easy in everyone's mind but the judges give Shane a one point split decision victory. You have to be safe but Im sure he doesnt plan on using it, lol

Damnit where did you guys find people to bet 500 and 600k that the fight would be signed. That's EASY points I should have looked harder.

              I don't mind at all May-Pac didn't get made.

They are all going to make money anyways and get good fights.

I am not heartbroken about any of the fall outs.

Don't worry homey, I asked my e-buddy to hold my points for me.

I'm not hating on nobody, I'll gloat later if the contract is signed by both camps.

Im cool with Mayweather getting a rematch as long as Mosely gets an immediate rematch should he lose. It's only fair Mosely is the champ. I bet Mayweather wont grant Mosely a rematch should Mayweather win.

This cannot be true. Many informed, intelligent posters on boxingscene made threads and post claiming that Floyd was balking and scared to face Mosley in the ring.
                    A false report perhaps?

The rematch clause coves Floyd's and GBP butt in case Mosley wins.

What if Mosley wins and leaves GBP after the fight to fight Manny? GBP would lose millions. GBP will make millions, even if Mosley's win, or loses by having him fight Money again, or Money fights Manny later in the year.

You have to remember anything can happen in boxing and you only need one lucky punch to punch. Floyd can get a nasty cut or injure his hands during the fight. The rematch clause is a smart move by Floyd and GBP.
