I'm just saying it's interesting that Mayweather is asking for a rematch clause. For those who say it's meant to freeze Pacquiao out, I doubt Pacquiao will get frozen out if Mayweather and Mosley have a rematch, he has options out there, maybe not as big as the winner of Mayweather-Mosley but still, he has options.
Did Pacquiao have a $40-50 million dollar fight on the table? NO! Floyd could've waited for Manny instead of fighting Shane.

This freezes Manny out and sets up Mosley re-signing with GBP instead of leaving them for a bigger payday.

What options does Manny have at WW to make over $15 million?

And Mosley is a GBP fighter and works for GBP. So why wouldnt Mayweather wanta rematch clause? To me it's a good business decision unless you're looking at it another way. I don't see how this is surprising at all. And to answer your question, Antonio Tarver as the challenger had a rematch clause for his first fight with Dawson.
Antonio Tarver was the champion in their first fight making a voluntary defense of his title.

I can't name anybody, he has no options. He might as well retire... I agree...

No, because Manny would be the bigger star and have all the momentum.

Let me give you an example...

Floyd loses the fight and wins the second fight.

Manny beats Clottey, Margarito, and Marquez and sells millions of PPV's.

Who is going to have the most leverage?

Im sick and tired of Fraud thinking he makes all the rules. Get ready for a close fight. Shane will probably get robbed by judges to set up Pac fight. If Mayweather wins he better clown Mosely. If Mosely loses close I want a rematch!
