ESPN reported that, but other people are reporting this is a done deal.

Team Mayweather said it was a done deal and Mosley said it was a done deal. What more do you want? We got direct quotes from Mosley and Team Mayweather.

No you're just ****ing ****** if you think Mayweather should get a rematch and Shane shouldn't! If Mayeather wins a close fight he needs to give Shane a rematch since he's begging for one. *****s are beyond any sort of objectivity when it comes to Floyd. Shane is the ****ing champ, not ***weather!! May thinks he calls all shots. That's why he lost the Pac fight. Serves his ass right. He had to fight Mosely. I dont give him much credit. If you say you're the greatest then fight the great fighters at your current weight. You dont retire just to duck em.

        Why? Rematch clauses are common.

How many times do you see the challenger asking for a rematch clause?

Mayweather is risking his perfect 0 and risking his $40-50 million fight against Manny by taking this fight.

Why the **** would he fight Shane again if he beats him before fighting Manny? He would fight Manny if he beats Shane... only an idiot would fight Shane again before fighting Manny because he would have to fight him a 3rd time if Shane wins.

            Mayweather never ducked anyone.

Mosley has nothing to lose and has everything to gain. He can fight other WW's if he loses, but he can fight Money or Manny if he wins.
I don't know here where I disagree... If Floyd losses right... How does that diminish Pac-Floyd? How is that fight anymore different? I know what you saying and the majority will agree with you... but, I hate that in the era will live now that after 1 lost it diminishes everything now... Is not like Shane is a scrub you know? He would lose to arguably the best WW... So how is a fight with Pac less meaningful now then it was before... It was always like that... But, something changed along the way... That is something that I don't like that i see going on here... After 1 lost you got exposed or you were overrated, you are done, or some bull****... it make no sense to me... For me personally he does not lose anything in loosing to Shane. But, for the majority I agree with you he does...

I know he did for Hatton and I beleve Judah too. I'm sure he did in other fights as well. I just don't feel like looking it up right now.

                  yessir, that is very true...

With the clause in Place Pac is frozen out.

Shanes GBP contract also runs out after the Floyd fight.

So the re-match clause was a stroke of genius IMO by Floyd and GBP.

What if Mosley wins and leaves GBP after the fight to fight Manny? GBP would lose millions. GBP will make millions, even if Mosley's win, or loses by having him fight Money again, or Money fights Manny later in the year.

You have to remember anything can happen in boxing and you only need one lucky punch to punch. Floyd can get a nasty cut or injure his hands during the fight. The rematch clause is a smart move by Floyd and GBP.
It makes sense as long as it was GBP's decision and not Floyd's

How many challengers are the cash cow of boxing and gave up a $40-50M fight to fight Mosley?

Anything can happen in a fight. Floyd can get a nasty cut and stop the fight early or get injured during the fight. Shane just needs one lucky punch to win the fight.
