It's interesting to me because it could tell me something about Mayweather's mindset about the fight.

But why is it assumed that Mayweather was soley behind the rematch clause? It's very possible that both Mosley and GBP wanted it and both teams agreed. The only thing that has been said is that a rematch clause is in the contract. There is nothing that says anything about which fighter requested it.
