should a boxer be allowed to be a commisioner too when he fights?

Even still, if he has nothing to hide, why refuse? It would be like me accusing you of smelling like **** when you don't. All I have to do is smell you to find out you don't really smell like ****. Would you refuse that on principle?

Changing the offer is not agreeing.

This just happened to be something out of the ordinary that made the fight collapse. Pacquiao has demanded 8 oz gloves at WW despite the fact that WW traditionally use 10 oz gloves. Guess he's trying to change the system too. The Olympic style testing was just a stipulation that essentially was a deal breaker in the negotiation process. IMO however, blood testing should be something looked into with some window in boxing however.
i believe 8 oz gloves cannot be used only above ww.....my problem is floyd askin for **** like this when he never did before, ...

I would not let my neighbor inspect my house for stolen **** but if he asked me to take a blood test to prove that I didn't, and I was going to make tens of millions of dollars, then hell yes, I would.

Personally, I don't think Pac does steroids. The thing that drives me crazy is that he won't submit to a simple and ****** request to prove his innocence.. I'm sorry but he could put his pride aside to earn 30 million dollars.

We are talking about 10's of millions of dollars here. What wouldn't you do for 10 million dollars?

It's known that numerous guys have been exposed cheating after the fact and gotten away with cheating for many fights (where was the commission for those fights?).

State boxing commissions are nothing but a set of bad rules, inconsistently enforced, and filled with nothing but bureauc**** leeching on the taxpayer.
those scenarios are somewhat beyond their control....were the commisioners the ones to blame too when margo used handwraps ?....what bad rules?....

Commisions can not keep up with the demands of the what the fight fans and many boxers want.

Most fans and boxers want better decisions and different judges. The fighters must use commission appointed judges (instead of ones that may rise to the top, like umpires in basketball or referees in football). Both fighters may agree that judges A, B, and C are all quality and fair judges. The commission appoints judges X, Y, and Z who are all just bad or shady. Could you imagine this scenario in the World Series? The government commission gives the job of home plate umpire to someone who both fans and players know is not qualified to be an umpire at a little league game? It's absurd.

Most fans and boxers want much stricter drug testing. The commissions sit on their ass.

They are stuck in 1935 because they have zero incentive to do better...

Being a cheat is the worst thing in sport, i just cant see why someone wouldn't jump at the chance to prove they fight clean if they are clean. Why leave a huge doubt over your career when you have achieved so much?

I think they were. Aren't the commissioners supposed to inspect the wraps? yes, but they were not competent and Nassim found the illegal substances in Margarito's wraps. Someone who was actually concerned for the well being of his fighter and not some prick who was just doing his job.

i would too for selfish reasons to be honest.....lol....but we cant swallow our principle for that kind of money because we dont have what pac has.....pac not giving in to his accusers demand and not letting them make that kind of money is understandably reasonable....
