Yes, Floyd can be a commissioner also because he commissions himself to commit egotistical mistakes over and over again.
should a boxer be allowed to be a commisioner too when he fights?

Dude,What?
If myself and you decided we were going to put on a boxing show in Ohio between the 2 of us, we would pick the venue, date, etc.
We could not pick what referee would be in our fight. We could not pick what judges would be in our fight.
If we put on a show with our own referees, judges, and doctors our show would be shut down and we could be sued.
If we started our own football league or racing league we could pick our referees and rules. Our games and races would not be shut down.
really,
you're rambling now.
If, if, if.
I don't deal in "ifs", but reality.
The reality is this,
For many fights, championship fights even, the NSAC was perfectly fine for Floyd Mayweather and his camp. The fine levied against him for not honoring his own contract was good enough, as was the type of testing required for the fight to go forward.
Suddenly, the standards are not good enough, even though he just fought there this past summer.
History shows he has many ways of talking his way out of fights he supposedly wanted, and said were, "easy fight, easy work". Now, he wants people to believe he is the master of fairness and equality in the boxing ring. We, as fans have no problem with fairness and equality in combat sports.
The problem is, the amount of hypocrisy shown, not only by his demand for this test, but by the party representing him to have this type of test.
Now, if you want to go make up your own silly organization with your own rules, by all means, feel free to do so. This is america where you have that right. Surely, you'll demand Olympic style drug testing, so surely you'll have at least one fighter fight under your commission.
Now get to work, you have some fights to oversee.Comment

I think you have a bad case of PacFloyd syndrome. Did you even read anything I said?
If I created that organization and set up fights without the grace of the state commission it would be illegal. I would have to use state appointed judges, referees, and rules. Jeesh.Comment

everyone did and the ones that made sense dont even have anything to do with the topic.......I think you have a bad case of PacFloyd syndrome. Did you even read anything I said?

I didn't say it failed majority opinion. It fails logic.
You state over and over how commissions have failed, bad decisions are handed down, and how they failed to catch cheaters.
You want these same people to keep running the sport...Comment

I specifically said,
I don't deal in "ifs", but reality.
Lets deal with reality, again.
There is a state appointed commission in place.
Not a single person cared about the standards in place, even though, boxers have been getting caught cheating for the last 10 years or so. Not a single person had an issue with the commissions at hand.
Nobody so much as said a word about Pacquaios achievements until one jealous father started running his mouth. The same guy that practically everyone on this board would make jokes about.
All of a sudden, hes the gospel on PEDs and whose using them.
Go try your "ifs", somewhere else.Comment

I'm sorry for not assuming that every single thread here that is vague and does not reference a specific fight (or even non-existant ones) revolves around Pacquiao or Mayweather. I'm sorry for wanting to have an actual discussion about state commissions, their actions, problems, alternatives and resolutions. Instead I will just post "Floyd is a b*tch" or "Pac is a cheat" in every thread so I can fit in.
Please forgive me B-Scene gods for I do not know what I do.Comment

I'm sorry that you haven't made a single valid point in this thread.
"the commissions are out for themselves"
"a boxer can fight for all commissions, but race car drivers can't"
"if I made up my own commission".
