No, the fight was INITIALLY 147, Floyd ALWAYS said it was 147. Only JMM and Co said 144-145 catch. There is no research to do. For the record, I hate floyds guts, but I know right from wrong and can read logic very well.

Floyd, even in interviews, always attested that as far as he was concerned it was a WW fight, and thats what he's training for. Obvious people knew (floyd fans at least) otherwise when he tried to pay off JMM and Company before the weigh in.

But do you guys not realize what INITIAL means? Here, a different word..ORIGINALLY a WW bout, but they signed for catchweight.

you gotta understand, what i am posting is if i was in manny's shoes.

as a fan of the sport, i would like stricter testing and would want the fights to be as fair as possible as much as anyone out there. but you gotta see were manny is coming from on this one. saying that he is ducking the tests cause he has something to hide is completely preposterous.

I thought about from Mannys perspective. I came to the conclusion its better to remove doubt then give a beaten foe a premade excuse. Also silence the peanut gallery (sr, Paulie, Cintron, Dibella ect). Why lets the rumors fester and grow? Its worth it to leave all doubters dumbfounded.

It's not hard to understand. But it was originally a 147 bout (to us fans).
My argument wasn't whether or not floyd did or didn't come in heavy, it was that he weighed less than the original weight "at least", all though heavier than the contractual weight.

fair enough. but he may also be thinking that he doesn't need to prove anything to anyone, and that people have been treating him like a cheater from the get go. that is why he's gonna sue. to show his accusers that he ain't gonna take their ****.

don't get me wrong. im fine with manny sucking it up and taking the tests. but i see where he is coming from.
