With nothing to hide (so he says), and now an obvious bone to pick with Floyd Mayweather, you'd think he couldn't WAIT to get in the ring with Floyd now, ya know?fair enough. but he may also be thinking that he doesn't need to prove anything to anyone, and that people have been treating him like a cheater from the get go. that is why he's gonna sue. to show his accusers that he ain't gonna take their ****.
don't get me wrong. im fine with manny sucking it up and taking the tests. but i see where he is coming from.
Just saying man.. a ton of money, and an opportunity to hurt the man (and the man's son) who have been tarnishing your reputation, just to solidify something you've been saying all along? I dunno man.. a refusal of that magnitude just doesn't feel right to me.
To each their own though.Comment

It's not right to single out ONE fighter.
It's fair for Pacquiao to give in to the random test because Mayweather has decided to not go through with USADA.
Please, be objective they are still in negotiation.Comment

I hear that. I just think its a bad idea to allow this thing to have legs if u can nip it in the bud. When I first heard about I figured Manny would jump at this. He agreed quickly witch I expected. I was surprised when it started to become an issue. He doesnt have to prove anything but not accepting in this case may do more long term harm than anything and thats unfortunate.fair enough. but he may also be thinking that he doesn't need to prove anything to anyone, and that people have been treating him like a cheater from the get go. that is why he's gonna sue. to show his accusers that he ain't gonna take their ****.

Well Ive made a thread saying that I understand both sides of it but we also cant dispute the fact that Pac is super popular right now because people think he is doing stuff that is abnormal and stuff that has never been done before. In this day and age, isnt it ok to ask for something when the other guy is doing it also? People make it sound like this is a witch hunt but its not. Everyone isnt saying Pac, prove that you arent a steroid user". Instead they are saying that this is the biggest fight in history and we want both guys to take these test. Its not just one guy.
Also, in the past I have gave Pac some room with wanting extra days but I thought about it more today. I was like, if you test the guy on Wednesday before the fight then thats over 3 days he has until fight time. No matter how super stitious you are or how much you think it weakends you, there is no way that you cant sit down for 1min on a Wednesday and still have it affect you physicaly or mentaly by Saturday night or maybe early Sunday morning. That **** wouldnt bother anyone. It takes a minute to do these test. One minute out of a 24 hour day and he's going to have over 3 of those 24hr days before the fight? Come on now. Anyone can do that and it wouldnt faze them. I could see the same day, the day before, or maybe even 48hrs but he should easily be able to do 3 days before. Thats nothingComment

they have always said no blood too close to the fight (the time they say varies, but this has been consistent). i think arum acted poorly as a negotiator and made the issue bigger than it really is. and gbp didn't have to come out with such damaging statements that could have killed the fight.I hear that. both sides acted like jack assses.
if this pushes through though, this certainly increased the interest of the fight whether they planned this or not.Comment
