I think for a die-hard boxing fan either would be great, the fight alone is a gift. But to a casual sports fan, Pacquiao is going to bring in more press and more interest to the sport.
    Sense.

Mayweather is huge for boxing but, Pacquiao really has the adoration of a lot of boxing fans and the ability to entertain casual fans. It's not an attack on Mayweather to say you think Pacquiao extending his reign would be good for boxing.

I love the part on Lion King when Rafiki said that...
I'm just speaking on behalf of Pacquiao's position as #1 in response to Burner. Although Pacquiao is rightfully #1 he'll trully be recognized for that if he beats the former. Of course it would also be huge for Mayweather to regain his former throne.

Mayweather has a 5 fight deal with GoldenBoy so obviously Im going to say may. Pacquiao will retire if he wins.

Pacquiao win is good for boxing as Mayweather not setting a good example to our children. Big loud mouth, suspect in shooting, throwing money at night clubs instead giving it to the poor.
