Mayweather win is better. I could see Pac retiring if he were to beat Mayweather.

Personally I think a Pacquiao win would be better. A loss on Mayweather's record would only urge him to take more chances and stop guarding his "0." Also it would truly shake up the rankings and boxing's status quo. Having a truly legitimate #1 fighter who has a style as pleasing as Pacquiao would be tremendous.

I'm gonna say a Mayweather win because he's most likely gonna fight on longer than Pacquiao. And with all that attention he would get it would mean a lot more money for a longer period of time.

Yes but he would continue picking safe spots which does nothing for boxing. I personally do not believe Pacquiao would flat out retire forever with the sort of momentum he would have coming off that victory. Mayweather becomes so much more exciting without an "0" holding him back.

If Mayweather is the best, he doesn't deserve to lose. And know what he IS the best and if people can't accept him as the champion, then **** them people. I accept him for one and i know many more do. ****y or not, Flashy or not, Arrogant or not. He's the best and he can do whatever the *** he wants and that's ok.

he is fighting Manny now, how can you look into the future and say that he will continue to pick safe spots? that's a real question.

What would be best for boxing is if both guys fight an all-time great fight that matches the event and that both fighters come out of it with the respect of everyone...

I think both fighters won't fight much longer... Pacquiao probably 2 or 3 more fights (even though I think that he comes back, he's a fighter and needs it)... Mayweather probably one more or two and I think it will be his final goodbye with the exception if he get's in money trouble again...

Boxing always survives... when Ali was gone Leonard came... when Leonard was gone DLH came... DLH gone Pacquiao and Mayweather... there will always be someone who carries it on

Even if he did pick safe spots, he would still make a lot of money and fight on longer. I think Pacquiao is gonna focus on his political stuff, rather than continue boxing.

Well you can look at a track record and see Pacquiao was the more willing fighter to take dangerous fights. Obviously a great fight from both fighters is ideal for boxing but I believe a new king would do boxing some good.
