this prime **** is petty. Floyd fans cant **** on Manny's resume as easily as we can laugh at floyds. Floyd fans have a narrow view on the world, and will skew it in floyds favor as they see fit.

Lets say JLC was primed when he fought floyd, was that a better win than Cotto at the state he is now? I would think Cotto at 145 would be tougher than a "primed" JLC at 135. Alot of people say this is one of floyds best wins, but its better than Cotto, or barrera. Just because he was primed?

And hypothetically...if Morales wasnt "primed" in their 2nd match, he would still be a much tougher fight than Angel Manfredy, who was arguably in his prime when he lost to floyd.

Exactly. PBFs prime opponents were never any good in the first place basically. History knows this fact and will not be kind to PBF!

PBF only beat Hatton because it was at 147 with home advantage and a bias ref who PBF had a good talk to before the fight to warn him about Hattons holding and dirty tactics. Basically pleading with the ref to protect him from hatton. Hatton was almost fighting in Germany when he fought Floyd.
Pac beat DLH and Hatton at 140 much more impressive than PBF but gets no credit for it.
Just how much more impressively would Pac need to beat Hatton and DLH before he can get as much credit as PBF for beating them in 24 rounds almost? Would pac need to have destroye hatton and DLH in 20 seconds to get any credit?

blah blah i could just as easily say that he fought Hatton at 147, a weight he previously looked terrible at, and that Corrales was weight drained.

Pacquiao fought Hatton at 140, a weight that Hatton was 44-0 and stronger than everyone he faced.

Pacquiao also defeated a prime Barrera, which is better than anything on Floyd resume

Pacquiao beat a prime Marquez at 130

                    Cotto looked good to

This is probably the most interesting topic I've ever seen in this forum. Sorry I couldn't contribute. As I read all the post, I've learn a lot from it.

Keep up the history details guys. I'm enjoying it.
