Barrera was not shot but Cotto was definitely past his prime. Even Freddie Roach said that so you can accuse him of spin too.

I don't think Cotto was past his prime, he's just too easy to hit. Clottey didn't take advantage of this, Pac did. He needs a better defense.

Cotto is debatable, but even so, that Cotto in the ring is still deadlier than a JLC in his prime, angel manfredy in his prime, Corrales (RIP) in his prime. Taht puts this prime talk as just a way to elevate floyds resume.

funny how floyd gets no credit for beating oscar and ricky yet manny gets praised for those 2 wins

PBF gets no credit because he barely beat DLH and fought Hatton at 147 with home advantage, and after having a word with the ref beforehand to look out for Hattons dirty tactics.
Pac gets credit because he mopped the floor with them in about 10 rounds less than PBF did.

He still put in good performances after losing to Marge. He had a bad day against Clottey, but that hardly means much. Everyone can have a bad day. Still no one beating Cotto though was there decisively.

I didn't. He didn't seem to fight any less or different. He's always had the same strengths and weaknesses. Although I was shocked at how little damage Mosley did to him in their fight but ever since he's been a ww his face has been getting beat and cut up(like i said except for Mosley).
