Agree but not when the two fighters in question are both! considered great fighters, and particularly when Whitaker is one hell of a counter puncher who's game is based on frustrating the opponent and having them fight his fight.

I disagree. I think it would much more competitive than their actual fight, but Pac would win UD.

I'm not even sure Pac has peaked yet so I can't say for sure how Pac would win, but UD is my best guess.

Whitaker is getting overrated badly here. He got a Ud over chavez. (well, they called it a draw) Whitaker is slippery and had good defense - but he doesn't have half the offensive capabilities of Pacquiao, nor the hand speed or even foot speed.

Whitaker get's a lot of praise here, but there isn't anything amazing that the man did, other than avoid punches and look good doing it. He lost to the best men on his resume, but was considered not in his prime.

same goes for Duran vs Whitaker, I'd give that one to Duran by a long shot.

Mayweather's defense is as good as Pernell's. The difference is (And alot of people confuse this) Whitaker's display of defense was more entertaining to watch. Although I love to watch Mayweather's display of defense also.

This is a ****** argument on your part.. It's not the amount you throw, it's the amount you land. And Mayweather is the most accurate puncher in the game right now. He doesn't waste punches which makes him smart and effective.An example was in the DLH fight. Delahoya threw more punches but landed less in every department including power punches.
