You're a bit to quick to pass judgment. The only fighter I've mentioned was Pacquiao and most people agree Pacquiao is a throwback.

A lot of other fighters were great in a time where boxing matches were held much more often, but there are still plenty of throwback fighters in our modern time. I reject the notion that just because a fighter came from the golden age of boxing means that he could destroy a fighter in our current era. Whitaker was great, but not any greater than today's greats.

    Case in point above

What on earth are you talking about, no seriously?

As i already said its got nothing to do with the era Whitaker was in and everything to do with his skill level and versatility which is far beyond Pacquaio's.

then you would understand that the same thing was said back in the 80's, it's evolution, but i still have sweetpea on top

          P4P a prime Pacquaio > A prime DLH

There's a reason people like to make Armstrong and Duran comparisons when talking about Pacquiao.

Which I am disagreeing with.... It's not hard to comprehend.

I've seen my fair share of Whitaker fights, but his skillset never impressed me as much as the current Pac does.

It's as much based on opinion as it is perspective.

I disagree. I think it would much more competitive than their actual fight, but Pac would win UD.

I'm not even sure Pac has peaked yet so I can't say for sure how Pac would win, but UD is my best guess.

If you think Manny is more versatile and skilled then you really dont have a clue what your talking about.

how do you figure? dlh was way faster and had mad power, the only way i could see issues would be cause dlh had issues with southies. other then that no way
