We can see if Pac can beat pure defensive boxers like floyd. But for now, Ill pick Whitaker. Manny is having problems catching Cotto in the early rounds and Pernell is better at avoiding punches.

Whitaker is getting overrated badly here. He got a Ud over chavez. (well, they called it a draw) Whitaker is slippery and had good defense - but he doesn't have half the offensive capabilities of Pacquiao, nor the hand speed or even foot speed.

Whitaker get's a lot of praise here, but there isn't anything amazing that the man did, other than avoid punches and look good doing it. He lost to the best men on his resume, but was considered not in his prime.

same goes for Duran vs Whitaker, I'd give that one to Duran by a long shot.
