Look- the only thing I am seeing on there is fan mentality on that thread-I don't see a valid debate. When I asked which slick fighter Manny has fought, then some people must assume that it is a racial thing-or because of what Nate Campbell had said-that is seperate to what I am saying. The truth is,I cannot find a match Manny has been in,where he is fighting someone who is slick- it doesn't mean it's his fault.I have, however, mentioned how I think there is a bit of "smoke and mirrors" with his last 4 fights and I have given legitimate reasoning and facts.Keep in mind,I love this sport,I am not a fan of any certain fighter-I don't have a favourite fighter as I like a lot of different styles...
I think the mentality for most fans here is to buy into the hype of a certain fighter, buy the ppv against a guy with more disadvantages than not,and claim him the next Sugar Ray Robinson- that is what Bob Arum is doing to a degree with Pacquiao. Don't get me wrong though, because as I have mentioned before,I think Manny is good at what he does, but against someone like Mayweather-I feel the odds are against him.I also give Manny 100% props if he wins, but as of right now,I will be level-headed and not buy into the b.s. I have noticed with the hype and Manny's last 4 fights.....make sense?
