So you can copy/paste, bravo (though pretty much worthless without a link,) doesn't change the fact that Bert rates Ali and Louis higher than Dempsey.

It also doesn't change that fact that Sugar rates Dempsey as the best heavyweight ever in terms of his ability which was the question. You want a link? Here you go

Sorry son, but that one "pound for pound HW" reference just doesn't cut the mustard.

Haha, lmao. Without having to look up boxrec or some other search engine, can you even name a fighter Finito defended his title against off the top of your head ?

Finito, as good as he was, never stepped up a single weightclass!!. It's far more demanding and taxing to ones body having to prepare for someone bigger and bigger each time, compared to fightin' nobodies, I mean, can you even say that Finito's toughest challengers even come up to par with the likes of MAB, EM, JMM ?

And to the thread topic, I don't think it's even up for debate, PAC has definitely surpassed Sweet Pea, but it doesn't mean PAC beats Whitaker in a head-to-head matchup.

But, the media folks sound pretty sure that 5/10 is the big superfight, we will soon get a better idea how PAC would've stacked up against the great Pernell Whitaker.

Pound for pound means best fighter. Period, son. Why do you think they call Manny Pacquiao number one pound for pound? Because he's the second ,third, or fourth best? Get serious.

Sugar also thinks Dempsey is the greatest heavyweight that ever lived. You didn't like that opinion too much though did you?

Pound for pound best HW doesn't mean best HW.

Are you really not getting this?

Plus, according to his Boxing's Greatest Fighters' list, he doesn't even rank Dempsey above Louis and Ali pound for pound.
