It's opinion as to the reasons that people come [or came-he may have overcome his reputation for lousy fights] to his fights, but well substantiated opinion, as discussed by various expert commentators over the years.

As to the rest of it, yes, this is fact, the low attendance figures, and the sight of fans walking out on his fights have been well discussed in the past, in the media.

If a phrase, "stunk out the house" was suddenly thrown at any of the expert commentators and TV boxing figures, the first name that would automatically come to their lips would be "Floyd Mayweather.

This is, of course, opinion, but again, well grounded in past facts.

Corrales, Hernandez, Gatti, N'Dou and both Castillo fights did no such think.
You can keep making stuff up if you like, but dont expect anyone to believe you.

Corrales and Gatti were "walking corpses", [a proven FACT] and the only actual good activity fight was the 1st Castillo fight, and that was because of Castillo pressing the action.

Many still think he won that fight. N'Dou was a very average fighter, and STILL, the fight "stunk out the house".....

So........I don't see your point, presuming you have one.

I actually don't care about this, but if you COMPARE common opponents PBF is a bigger draw, no matter what you think numbers don't lie....

I would be disappointed if it did fewer than 2 mill. The early numbers from ellerbe and arum suggest a projection of 2.543 mill.

according to the report:

pac/cotto did 1.25 million pay-per-views

floyd/jmm did 1.05 million pay-per-views

add to that the fact that pac/cotto was priced higher than floyd/jmm and pac/cotto sold out and they didn't have to hand out any free tickets, plus pac/cotto didn't fall on a holiday, nor did pac/cotto have 6 months of promotion... adding all this up, means floyd will have to bow down to 50/50 or even 55/45 in favor of pac.
