How are Mayweather's numbers more impressive? If Cotto Manny made 1.25, and and Mayweather Marquez made 1, then Cotto Manny's numbers are more impressive. Don't forget, most of the buys during Mayweather Marquez were mexican fans. Either you are being bias, or I completely don't understand what you just said.

Mayweather-Marquez numbers are more impressive IMO. Cotto is a bigger draw than Marquez by far and brings a lot of Latino and East Coast fans something Marquez could not do so Fire Power was going to do a lot of PPV buys. I did not expect Numero Uno to do that much.

I think the Mayweather-Marquez fight numbers was "so unexpected" because it was such an obvious mismatch, but I'd agree that the Mexican fans made up the majority buys.
