I don't know why but a lot of people did not credit Manny Pacquiao for the success of Mayweather - Marquez fight!!! It did 1 million buys because they've been using pacman in promoting the fight. Marquez was often mentioned as the one who gave pacman 2 hard fights. Marquez would not have been a viable fighter to mayweather if not for pacquiao. So stop giving credit to Mayweather alone for the success of his last fight!!!

JMM's last PPV was in 2008 vs Pac and it barely did 400K...after that his 2 fights were on HBO.....yeah he is a PPV fighter on his own

You should have seen what most expected from Numero Uno, about 400-600K. I expected 600K because the match up wasn't seen as competitive. Instead everyone was surprised by 1.1M. I said Fire Power will do 1.2Mill+ and I made a thread on it, I expected that from the more competitive match up.

dom we also are forgeting the fact that these dudes are not american...
