Morales moving up? Pacquiao rematch off?

I say that the "cut eye excuse" is bull**** because I've seen fighters win fights with two broken hands (PBF and Malignaggi have done it), both eyes swollen shut (think Ebo Elder vs. Courtney Burton), extreme broken noses, and cuts that required stitches afterwards (anyone remember the co-main event where Husein opened that huge cut on the bridge of Arce's nose?) Great fighters overcome their problems in the ring and don't make excuses about it afterwards.

kinda like the hurt foot in the marquez fight,which did not allow manny to move as much as he could of but of course wasnt able to KO marquez after knocking him down 3 times in the 1st and the gloves issuse,cut on his eye and 130 lbs not being his natural weight for the Morales fight?

I think everyone would enjoy a rematch, but expecting a fighter to not step up in weight so a rematch with a fairly assured outcome could take place? I don't think so. If the fight were so close that a clear winner was impossible to choose I could see the point, but as things stand, Manny was beaten fairly, decisively, and doesn't deserve a rematch based on the possibility of him correcting a bad loss, an unfair decision, or an uncertain outcome. Any rematch that took place would be for money and viewer entertainment only, because of the unliklihood of a victory for Manny.

of course we would all like to see a rematch, but this time we can ask morales to move out of the way when manny lunges in with his head to avoid any cuts and also make sure they use Reyes gloves (8oz) and ask morales not to be giving Manny any rounds like he did in the 12th. Mab vs Morales 2 and 3 did not live up to Mab vs Morales 1, so a 4th fight might not be fun nor a good idea, now if morales moves to 135,thats fun, I want to see how far he can go b4 being stopped

Let me tell you a little bit about the history of boxing and how fights more lopsided than this ended up much differently in a rematch. You are a joke man. I bet you support Morales/Barrera4. Damn idiots don't make no sense. The fight was competitive and it looked to me that Pac has a very good shot at winning a rematch. I seem to see a trend here. Barrera don't want no more of Pac as stated in his interview. Marquez don't want none of Pac, Morales fans don't want to see a rematch because Morales will just whoop on Pac again. Lets get real fellas. Yall just ******. A REMATCH WOULD BE GOOD ALL AROUND. For the fighters, the sport, the fans.

They don't have excuses because they won the fights. And there is plenty of media coverage after the fights and fighters I mentioned. There is almost always an interview post-fight and then you read what they say on BT.com or *********, or any other good boxing site.

What did Wayne Braithwaite say after his fight? Did he make excuses? Nope, he just said that he wasn't the better man in the ring that day and that he'd be back. What did Tito say after Hopkins KO'd him? He said that Hopkins was a great fighter, that he took nothing away from him at all, and that he accepted his loss but would be back. No excuses there. But it seems like every time Pac fights and doesn't do well he has an excuse. He is a whiner, period.

Really, the only ones who wnt to see em fiht again is Pac's supporters. He got beaten and though not terribly, crying for a rematch is akin to every guy Morales has beaten without KO'ing em claiming they all should get re-matches. Anything can happen in a fight but by the same token it's true whether it includes Pacquiao or not.

Having said that, Morales is fast approaching(or leaving) the heaviest he can be successful at and I think he may well get KTFO at a higher fighting weight.

He ain't all that impressive at 130!
