I don't know why people don't want to see a rematch. Do they really hate Pacquiao this much that they don't wanna see him fight at all? Was the fight not exciting enough for you guys? Who cares if you think he lost to Morales! Some of you wanted a Barrera/Pacman rematch - AND THAT WAS A LOPSIDED MATCH! I think the Pac haters are getting blinded by hating Manny too much.

Who will Morales fight at 135 when the top contenders will be gone by the time he gets there? Frietas? Possible match up. With Chico gone as well as Castillo, it's not as contentious.

Morales could stay at 130 and take on Pac, Marquez and even Barrera again.

I think Pac is just a whiner. After the Marquez fight (which I had Marquez winning by a point) he said he had blisters or something. After the Morales fight (which I scored 116-112 Morales, giving him a CLEAR victory in my eyes) he said he couldn't see out of one eye for half the fight. I call B.S.! I think he was just making excuses.

Cuts are a part of the sport and you have to rise above them to become champion. If you don't then you will never be anything over a good contender. Manny, if he continues to use excuses like that, will never beat the top fighters (except for that one Barrera win, but I think Barrera takes him in a rematch).

The problem with Manny is that he is sooooo one dimensional that he only relies on his left hand and can't fight going backwards. Manny also throws his power left and leaves himself off-balance by not coming back with a right hook and putting himself back into a balanced stance. If he threw the left-right-left jab combinations he'd be a much better fighter.

As for EM moving up, I think it's a good idea. He might be a bit small for Castillo, but he will be good for Corrales. I think he even beats Corrales by KO, too. Castillo would eat him alive.

The cut was BS? It had no impact on the fighter?

Damn....well, everyone will accept Barrera's excuse for losing to Pacman but a cut over Pacman's eye apparently is BS.

What's their natural weight between fights? Morales and Pac Man? 135? I had read that Pac Man's natural weight was around 130 - 135

Media attention to the metal plate on his head, fire near the Big Bear gym, so they had to move and get another gym.

lol, you forgot "he had a bad night". People are willing to accept he had a bad night but not accept not being able to see on one eye has effect on a fighter? If Morales caused that cut by a punch fair enough, but he didnt. Lightning doesnt strike twice, or does it..?

kinda like the hurt foot in the marquez fight, which did not allow manny to move as much as he could of but of course wasnt able to KO marquez after knocking him down 3 times in the 1st and the gloves issuse, cut on his eye and 130 lbs not being his natural weight for the Morales fight?

The cut probably didn't have much to do with Pacman's loss. I'm sure it affected him, but it was, after all, HIS fault, so if you still feel compelled to blame the loss on the cut, blame Manny for it. He's the one that lunged in and caused the clash of heads and the cut, all on his own.

Aside from that, I don't feel the fight would've turned out any differently, cut or not, preferred gloves or not, Saturn aligned with Mercury or not. He fought a good fight, but was just beaten by experience and skill. Manny, big left or no big left, is lacking in areas. He doesn't do well at all fighting on his heels (in fact he gets pretty rattled when under serious offensive pressure, much like Vlad Klitchko does), and his offense is predictable, to say the least. He was just outclassed by Morales. Would a rematch be fun to watch? Without question. Would it turn out differently? Almost certainly not. Morales has a great chin, is an excellant counter puncher, and knows how to beat Manny, and the only thing that's likely to change, in the event of a rematch, would be the date on the fight record.

Why cheapen a great fight with all this bull****?
