If Pacquiao hadn't been cut maybe the fight would of been different but that doesn't mean it would of been different in Manny's favor. In my opinion Pacquiao fought alot better after he got cut then before he was cut.

A lot of people demand a Barrera - Pac rematch, and that fight was far more lopsided than Pac - Morales. If that's the standard we're using, might as well say Leonard didn't deserve a rematch against Duran, or Holyfield didn't deserve a rematch against Bowe. These are two great fighters at the top of their games - I think Pac will stand a puncher's chance in any fight, he learns some defense, he's got a shot at Morales. He went the full 12 and lost a close decision, and had Morales hurt at the end. How is another fight lose - lose? I think their last fight brought in more money than any featherweight fight in history - and this would be a better matchup than if Morales moves up in weight
A rematch isn't a right, it's a privilege granted to you by your conqueror unless it's inked. This wouldn't be an issue if there was a rematch clause in the contract but Murad was so quick on the gun, the bastard didn't even think. Barrera had a rematch clause with Pac.
Pac would always have a chance in a rematch. I didn't see it as close as the scorecards read and I'm a Pac fanatic. Only reason Pac was able to hurt Morales in the 12th is cuz the mexican let him. If Morales didn't switch southpaw and traded, Pac most likely wouldn't have landed anything as significant as he did.
Morales is moving up, no fault to him. I doubt he cares that much about ppv earnings as he's already the current top paid superfeatherweight. His stock is high.

I like both fighters the same, and was cheering for both at the fight.
But when it was over, Morales had won by one round, in a fight that Manny fought half of with one eye.
That was not a clear cut win or a difinitive statement. It was no more decisive than Morales' win over Barrera in their first fight, or Barrera's wins over Morales in the 2nd and 3rd fights.
Unless Morales 100% cannot make the 130lb division anymore, I think the fans would be thrilled to see a rematch, and that Manny more than deserves one.
I don't think the Golves were an issue, but if Manny gets to wear his glove in a rematch, and can see out of both eyes for the whole fight, I think it makes for a very interesting fight.
**** happens in the ring man but can I say. With a charging southpaw against a charging orthodox, it was expected. Or better yet, should have been expected. The cut WAS 15 stitches but it's part of the sport. There are plenty of what ifs but that's all they are, what ifs.

I had it 115-113, as did all the judges. I was at the fight, and everyone I talked to afterwards had it about the same.
Again, the point I'm making is that I've now seen several of you in this thread say that the Morales victory was so clear you don't need to see it again.
Not the case at all. That could be said in a fight like when Manny beat Barrera, but the Morales Pacquiao fight was just as close as any of the Barrera vs Morales fights.
Again, I'm not saying that the cut was an excuse. I though Morales won at the fight, and scored it 7-5 for him when I watched it again.
But if any fight calls for a rematch, that was one. It was a great action fight, and everyone would be privledged to see them go at it a 2nd time.

exactly, jack, 135 is golden opportunity for Morales, there'll be no one there who can hang with him - with castillo and the wifebeater gone there's no reason why morales can't be undisputed at 135
