Its not an excuse as to why he lost, but when there's people saying Morales was dominating him in a fight that was 115-113, and one fighter couldn't see for half the fight, that's not dominating in the least.

I think Morales won the fight by one round.

Had Manny not been cut by a headbutt, who knows what would have happened. He ate a lot of jabs and shots he didn't see coming as a result, but still managed to make it close and competitive. The fact he was cut so badly by a headbutt, and the fight was still close, all the more warrents a rematch.

Had my great grandmother not died she would still be alive.
Your still using it as an excuse. What if he gets cut in the first this time and Morales beats him again without controversy.....again. He showed that he can beat Manny every time. People arent pointing out the fact that Morales blocked so many punches and backed Manny up everytime he finished the combinations.

If they fought 10 X - Morales would win 8 or 9 of those - he's just too big and skillful for Pacquiao.

"He showed that he can beat Manny every time."

          What are you talking about?

If he beats him again in a rematch (by a close score) that might be enough that there wouldn't need to be a 3rd fight.

Any way you look at it, an incidental butt caused Manny to not be able to see out of his right eye for half the fight, and he still managed to make the fight close. Does that change the fact he lost? No. Does it call for a rematch? You bet it does.

Again, a 115-113 fight is by no means difinitive. If it was that score in a fight where Manny had no cut at all, it would still warrent a rematch.

The fact he fought half the fight with one eye and still made it a very close fight doesn't excuse the loss, but it makes a very solid case for a rematch.

A Pacquiao Morales rematch would be good for boxing and boxing fans in every conceiveable way.

I really don't see how you can say that. In a fight where Manny's vision was obscured for half the fight, Morales won the fight by ONE round.

A rematch could prove very different, and until it happens, any notion such as the one quoted above is just conjecture.

I am a pac fan and i would not recommend a rematch with EM. WE LOST no excuses. No rematch. At least no immedeate rematch I want pac to fight at a lower caliber opponent first so that he can gain his momentum back then fight EM at 130 again. If EM hasn't retired or lost his patient waiting for pac. This must take time. Issue of an EM rematch is just to soon.

You just don't make sense on the cut excuse-if you play with fire you're gonne get burned - it's only my opinion, you don't have to agree.

I don't see where its difficult to understand.

Morales won this last fight fair and square, but it was very close (ONE ROUND), and Manny couldn't see out of one from the 6th round on.

I am saying this very much warrents a rematch, and if Morales only won by one round in a fight Manny couldn't see propperly, a rematch where he can see propperly may be all the more competitve, and definatly worth seeing.

Thats not difficult to understand is it?

Im like everyone else this was a very good fight and would to see the imediate rematch but you and I may agree that it would be devastating for Manny to fight Morales again so soon. It took balls for Manny to make the fight close,he earned my respect for sure. I think Morales might do the same to him again if they fight.

It was a clear cut win to me. I had the fight 116-112 and so did alot of other people. Every post fight article I read even said that Morales was the clear winner. If Pacquiao hadn't been cut maybe the fight would of been different but that doesn't mean it would of been different in Manny's favor. In my opinion Pacquiao fought alot better after he got cut then before he was cut.
