maybe its just me but i would like to see a guy like bud or anyone in his position take on the 'new guy', i mean boots has been labelled a generational guy for many years & i think beating boots would actually add to buds legacy actually,he would get massive kudos from people like us on this website anyway u would think taking that fight and from people like bread and others who rate boots sky high, they dont rate others in that way so that auto makes boots some type of legacy fight in their eyes at least u would think, even if bud did want the fight im not so sure getting boots to sign up with would that easy either, he seems to have his plan clearly mapped out for himself, or else i could be completely wrong on all fronts

As a boxing fan it would be great for the sport if those two were to rumble. It would be a crowd pleasing fight. However, from Bud’s perspective. He is looking at the end game.

true bud would have smacked pac around the place and arum knew it, i think bud smacks boots around the place actually, i dont see boots as being as good as bud even now with buds age i still think he beats boots pretty handy, im always su****ious of guys who dont take the biggest best fights available to them like boots has been doing, its usually for a reason in the end, they are not confident of taking those fights deep down there

Even this version of Bud would destroy Boots. The gap in ring IQ is too wide. Also, Bud switches seamlessly, has tremendous reach for his height and can counter just about anything Boots tries. He'd likely stop Boots or win a clear UD. Bozy and Eddie will never pursue that fight, no matter how much yapping they do. Don't be fooled.

I agree. Bud would be the easy favorite to win as he is the more proven fighter. I cannot think of a single name on Boots’ resume’ he fought who was good. Which is why he needs to fight Vergil Ortiz.

That’s very true. Crawford would be the easy betting favorite against Boots. However, a fight with Jaron doesn’t excite Bud. It’s almost like he is going backwards fighting him. He is not afraid but he is just mentally drained and fatigued at this point of his career. This fight is very appealing to boxing fans but just not to him.

Also, there is no reason to make this stuff up. Remember that Vergil Ortiz had become Terence "Bud" Crawford's No.1 contender for the WBO's 147 world title long before Jaron "Boots" Ennis and yet he never fought Crawford. I just wonder what was the reason why?

Could've swore Ortiz was some "gold champ", with the wba or some ****. Dont ever remember him with wbo. Could be wrong tho
