If Boots really wants to make a statement he should go right after the boogeyman of the division, Bakhram Murtazaliev. While Fundora and Ortiz take care of business in their fights.

I would mention Xander Zayas but it’s obvious that he doesn’t want any smoke right now. He's a paper champion who wants to milk his alphabet trinket for a while.

Boots is in danger of becoming the new Andrade.

And ortiz turned down multiple title shots because he’s a diva who wants to fight where he wants and also decline the ibf’s mandatory rehydration clause. Have some dignity ya simp.
We don’t know what caused his illness it’s all speculation. Being a weight bully is NOT one of the causes. Learn rhambo is and what causes it try maybe

I agree and Bradley is right. Jaron “Boots” Ennis defeats Vergil Ortiz by way of knockout.

Jaron is naturally wider, stronger and punches a lot harder at this weight division than Vergil. For example just take a good look at “Boots” body.

He still has a very long, lean and wiry build at 154. Now I cannot see Vergil Ortiz ever fighting Jaron Ennis until he shows some vulnerability at this new weight class.

That is the absolute truth. Pressure fighters are Boots’ specialty because he likes to hit.

Unless one can put their track shoes on or can move off the back foot; Then I don’t see anyone standing a chance of defeating Jaron “Boots” Ennis at 154.

The man is huge for that division, can punch and has a very decent Ring IQ. He knows how to adapt to different styles.

Rapid weight loss as well as dehydration are risk factors for it. You don’t need to be a doctor to figure out that this happened while he was in camp preparing for a fight and after it happened, he then chose to move up in weight. Pretty obvious what happened.

I agree with Tim about Ortiz. He struggled with Bohachuck. Boots beats the brakes off Virgil. He's all heart with little skill.
