That's what you need to do with less than great fighters, which is my point.

All of those fighters are better than Chazz Witherspoon & Derek Chisora, who Usyk struggled with.
These were usyks introduction to the division so he can be excused for not being at his best at this point. Not everyone's an Inoue, who can step straight to the title holders.

I presented to you that Tyson didn't mow down his decent opponents. He typically decisioned them or lost.

We've gone back and forth and now you're trying to undo that opinion. You probably should have just acknowledged that the statement was incorrect.
Berbick was a HW champion, much better than Witherspoon or Chisora.

      Tyson mowed him down.

Michael Spinks was a top 5 fighter of the '80s

      Tyson mowed him down.

Holmes was the longest reigning champion since Louis & went on to fight for another decade at a high level, including giving Holyfield all he could handle 5 years AFTER fighting Tyson.

      Tyson mowed him down.

I agree, but if people are going to argue he's the GOAT, then he has to be Inoue PLUS.

Nobody's resume stacks up to Ali's. He beat 3 top 10 ATG HW's which is ridiculously stacked for one man, on top of that he beat too many HOF's to name and had almost 20 title defences and was a 3 time undisputed HW champ. All of that after losing 3 of his prime years.

There is Ali, and then the rest.

Not he, nor anyone else in the sport, will ever have the same impact on lives, pop culture — anything — as Ali has.
There's no comparison, and he lost his best years do to in the process.

Pretentious fanboys want to pretend Ali never lost and was invincible when he was thoroughly beaten several times in his prime.

That’s right: three prime years. Really a special human being. Boxing was just what he did.

Erase? His resume isn’t in question. Being undefeated doesn’t make you the goat, ask Floyd. You’re judged by your comp. And even though he got a clean win in his rematch with Dubois, I can’t get the body shot ko loss to Dubois that wasn’t called.
