Ali was beaten by the sport in the end and was a punching bag at 37. Usyk is better than ever at 38.
Aren't you the one who wanted to play the prove me game ?!?!?

Ali could have fought well into his 90's in this de****able HW era.

Every era is the same but perceptions of eras varies. Nobody can prove Joe Frazier could beat Chisora or AJ.
      Evidently not
This era is the lamest, softest, least HOFers.....

When a person rolls out Chisora as a force to be reckoned with, that tells you all you need to know about that era.
      Usyk and Fury
      Maybe AJ and Wilder
Will be remembered 3 years after they retire.

          Comparing Usyk to Ali boxing-wise
-Athletes far bigger/stronger in modern era, boxing more globalized
-Olympic gold, World Championship gold, World Cup silver vs just Olympic gold
          -GOAT Cruiserweight career
-Moved up to HW and destroyed Joshua 2x, Fury 2x, Dubois 2x as a MUCH smaller man
-Won most of his fights on the road in enemy territory vs mostly U.S. for Ali
-Undefeated at 38 vs Ali’s multiple losses and gifts (Frazier, Norton, Spinks, etc)

Comparing Usyk to Ali outside the ring
-Usyk is always respectful, never trash-talks even when disrespected. Ali often taunted opponents, made inflammatory racial remarks, deeply hurt good people like Frazier and hurt their children too.
-Usyk is a true family man who never committed adultery or disrespected women, especially his wife. Ali was a serial adulterer, hurt many women.
-Ali was a hero to his people, but so is Usyk, who is a hero to not only the Ukrainian army and people, but to all of Western Europe and the entire Free World against Russian tyranny.
-Ali was constantly boastful and called himself great. Usyk is never boastful, never calls himself great, instead gives ALL glory to Jesus Christ.

As a boxer, as a man, Usyk is as close to perfection as it gets. He is a better ambassador and role model for boxing than Ali could ever be. He’s the kind of guy that young athletes should model themselves afterwards. He’s the epitome of conquering evil with good, and going high when others go low.

He is Christ-like, he is risen.

He is The Greatest Heavyweight of all time, but he would never say that of himself.

The legend of Oleksandr Usyk is just beginning.
When you analyze their comp, Ali is light years beyond Usyk. Usyk atg, Ali legend.

Chisora is about the same level as Shavers, Lyle, Young, Phil Jackson, Karl Mildenberger, Ossie Ocasio, LeRoy Jones, Ray Mercer, Tommy Morrison. Wilder was a phony fraud, bought title from Stiverne and only fought PBC employees.

You can't erase a perfect career. Perfection is Usyk. He has never made a mistake in the ring. He solves every puzzle every style. He is the goat.

I think too many people are just still buzzed by the win Saturday. It was awesome no doubt but let's not get ahead of ourselves here. Someone mentioned Usyk will be an ATG and that's no doubt. Though no way he exceeds Ali's accomplishments when he fought his career at heavyweight against some monsters.

I still think Ali is higher on the GOAT list because of the myth he has become in and out the ring. But prime to prime im picking usyk to beat him.

Not he, nor anyone else in the sport, will ever have the same impact on lives, pop culture — anything — as Ali has.
                    Kids, what can you say.
                    Frazier(2-1)
                    Foreman(1-0)
Norton(1-1, suffered a broken jaw during his decision loss)
                    Bob Foster(1-0)
                    Floyd Patterson(2-0)
                    Jimmy Ellis(1-0)
                    Sonny Liston(2-0)
Usyk is good but hasn't faced this kind of competition. But then again, fans nowadays think canelo is the last coca-cola in the desert.

I wasn't around for Ali. Never watched one of his fights live. Can't really comment on this. Usyk is unreal. And he hasn't dropped off at the end of his career and fought like a zombie with no feet.

I cant see Usyk losing to the Joe Fraziers or Ken Nortons of the world though.

And he would have embarrassed George Foreman so bad at any point of his career.
