Sorry Ali fans, Usyk has replaced him as “The Greatest” Heavyweight.

We can dig Ail up right now and he'd be a top 5 HW
Nothing against Usyk, I'm a fan
But this is the shlttiiest HW era is the history of the sport.

Its funny saying boxing is more globalized now when 4 of his 5 HW opponents are from the same country, a place that has a comparable population to California + Texas and around 50 active pro HWs.

Not he, nor anyone else in the sport, will ever have the same impact on lives, pop culture — anything — as Ali has.
What you said is not mutually exclusive with what OP said. Ali had a MUCH greater impact on history and culture outside of the ring. Usyk is a better and more accomplished boxer therefore The Greatest

Name calling is a sure way of sussing out shltty fans.
There are but a few memorable HWs in this shltty era.
          Usyk, Fury and AJ
          Ok, throw in Wilder

Oilskin Parker is the last man standing from this era with a hope of becoming memorable beyond Usyk and Fury.

Though Fury for as much as he did outside of the ring as in it.
This HW era has no light at the end of the tunnel.
Morrison would have won a title.

91' Morrison would have ran a train on everyone. His only competative fight would be Usyk

Not sure about this myself. Getting slow though no doubt.

I think H2H Usyk probably beats Ali but loses to Lennox

                  Look.

Any comparison between Usyk and Ali is simply not warranted.

                  Calm down.

Muhammed Ali best wins are prime George Foreman and Joe Frazier, that is top 10 heavyweights of all time. He also beat a very close to prime Sonny Liston, a top 10 heavyweight. There was a 14-year period between Ali winning the Lineal heavyweight title and the last time he held it

Usyk hasn't even had a 14 year career. He's only had 24 fights. For Usyk to try to compete, he’d have to beat Parker, Zhang, Bakole, Kabayel, Ituama, etc. Hell, Opetaia too, probably Bivol and Beterbiev also.

                  Ali fought literally everyone..

Don't forget, tonight was Usyk's FIRST real beat-down and schooling of an elite HW

His two fights with AJ and Fury were very competitive (He won them all, but he hardly ran them outta the ring). At the time, some even thought (I didn't) Derek Chisora did enough to get a draw against Usyk and many thought that in Usyk Vs Dubois 1. That was a legal shot by DDD and he should have got the belt.

So it would take a much more special fighter than Usyk to eclipse Ali at heavyweight. Usyk is good, but Ali does everything better than him and is simply far more talented. You know how Roy Jones was able to make elite technicians like James Toney and Bernard Hopkins look like mugs? That's that would happen to Usyk once Ali shows he's Usyk's equal in technical ability but has better stamina, faster hands, better foot speed and more power.

And I'm talking about young Ali (Cassisus Clay) not the Ali who fought Foreman or even Frazier, the Ali before the Vietnam sanction

As a young man, Ali could fight like that, at pretty much that pace for 15 rounds.

Now, if you wrote that Usyk would beat the 2nd coming of Ali ? Post Vietnam ? The slower, less dancing Ali ? That's a fair argument, I still don't think Usyk would, but I'm not as certain. I'm only 70% certain that the older Ali would beat Usyk, Whereas I'm 99% certain the young Ali beats Usyk.

A young Ali was pretty much untouchable before the forced exile from boxing. Mate - I'll take it to the next level. Usyk would not even land a punch on the young Ali (Cassius Clay). Maybe if Usyk went 15 years unbeaten at World title level, we could have a discussion about it.

But it's ironic that both Uysk and Ali share a birthday and are both are six foot three inches in height, have a seventy-eight reach and their optimum fighting weight is between 215 and 220 pounds,

The fact you’re claiming that the low blow by Dubois was legal already lets everyone know that you’re a disingenuous liar who pretends to not know the rules of boxing and isn’t worth anybody’s time.

Your post is pure fanboytism and nonsense. Liston wasn’t close to prime he was already an old alcoholic. Ali LOST to Frazier and Norton, he is not as skilled as Usyk, as good defensively or as strong physically. More stamina? Punch stats say otherwise. And tonight was not Usyk’s first schooling of a real HW, his wins over Fury was better.

What great fighters has Usyk he beat ?

I mean, the reason why great fighters get called that is because they have beaten other greats. So the floor is yours

The answer is none, the closest being fury who was physically a mess by the time of the fights.
