Any comparison between Usyk and Ali is simply not warranted.
Calm down.
Muhammed Ali best wins are prime George Foreman and Joe Frazier, that is top 10 heavyweights of all time. He also beat a very close to prime Sonny Liston, a top 10 heavyweight. There was a 14-year period between Ali winning the Lineal heavyweight title and the last time he held it
Usyk hasn't even had a 14 year career. He's only had 24 fights. For Usyk to try to compete, he’d have to beat Parker, Zhang, Bakole, Kabayel, Ituama, etc. Hell, Opetaia too, probably Bivol and Beterbiev also.
Ali fought literally everyone..
Honestly, tonight was the FIRST time I've seen Usyk's give a real beat-down and total schooling of not only an elite HW, but any elite fighter. Even as a cruiser, he wasn't really running the elites out of the ring.
His two fights with AJ and Fury were very competitive (especially the second fights). His fight against Derek Chisora was also very competitive, and many thought that in Usyk Vs Dubois 1. That was a legal shot by DDD and he should have got the belt.
Whereas prime Ali should have brought a mop into the ring, such was the ease in which he cleaned up the elite HW's of his day.
Usyk isn't incredibly skilled in any area. He's good in all areas. He's the "finds a way to win" guy.
Which is awesome.
But just imagine for a second that you didn't know who Usyk was, and you watched him fight.
I think, if you were being honest, you'd be underwhelmed with his power, his speed....you'd see he has good defence and feet but isn't a shockingly talented fighter. He just frustrates guys with his toughness.
So it would take a much more special fighter than Usyk to eclipse Ali at heavyweight. Usyk is good, but Ali does everything better than him and is simply far more talented. Once Ali showed he's Usyk's equal in technical ability but has better stamina, faster hands, better foot speed and more power, then he'd start to show he also has more dog in him than Usyk. He'd impose his will on Usyk and would probably stop him.
And I'm talking about young Ali (Cassisus Clay) not the Ali who fought Foreman or even Frazier, the Ali before the Vietnam sanction
As a young man, Ali could fight like that, at pretty much that pace for 15 rounds.
Now, if you wrote that Usyk would beat the 2nd coming of Ali ? Post Vietnam ? The slower, less dancing Ali ? That's a fair argument, I still don't think Usyk would, but I'm not as certain. I'm only 70% certain that the older Ali would beat Usyk, Whereas I'm 99% certain the young Ali beats Usyk.
A young Ali was pretty much untouchable before the forced exile from boxing. Mate - I'll take it to the next level. Usyk would not even land a punch on the young Ali (Cassius Clay). Maybe if Usyk went 15 years unbeaten at World title level, we could have a discussion about it.
In fact never mind Ali, I would not be confident that Usyk would have beaten either prime Klitchko's, especially Vitali.
But it's ironic that both Uysk and Ali share a birthday and are both are six foot three inches in height, have a seventy-eight reach and their optimum fighting weight is between 215 and 220 pounds,

Resume? He can't get there. I don't think anyone ever will with the lower volume of fights.
Ali had so many great wins. And the guys he beat had so many great wins. Boxing just can't generate the same sort of elevated standing for multiple fighters in an era nowadays.
But era for era, he's right up there. Ali was great, he was tough, he was skilled, he was fast and he could out think anyone. I could apply all of that similarly to Usyk and I'm not sure anyone else really comes into that same conversation. Possibly the two best ever, but the eras are so different.
People talk about Ali’s wins but ignore his losses.
Ali lost to Frazier in their first fight and was dropped in the process, after all the trash talking he did.
Ali was outboxed and beaten by Ken Norton.
Ali was dropped multiple times in his career by lesser opposition.
This is not counting his later losses and gift over Leon Spinks.
Ali didn’t go to the body, got hit flush too much, he didn’t have Usyk’s defense, movement, skill, or chin. A fight between them wouldn’t even be competitive because boxing has evolved. It’s not hating it’s the truth.
So let me get this straight with a mere 8 wins at heavyweight six of those eight are against the same three opponents makes Usyk the greatest? This was a weak attempt at rage baiting.
