Khataev and Sheerez both are getting shots because of their religion not based on merit/ability, that shouldn't be praised.

Not sure about that. Berlanga started off as a slight favorite but by fight time he was the underdog. I threw a few bucks on Sheeraz by stoppage and was not surprised by the outcome. No disrespect to Adames but Sheeraz was weight drained.

I didn't know that beating Berlanga was a bridge to Canelo. People were targeting Berlanga because he is known and beatable.

I didn't know being a welterweight and then fighting a guy with 9 fights is the bridge to undisputed at 168? A lot of you are hyped for that but then now want to claim a 168lber isn't deserving. It's a weak division so i think Sheeraz should get the shot because who else is there? Munguai Berlanga 154 Charlo and Bud all get shots but now Sheeraz potentially getting a shot is a problem?

Crawford will take Canelo's belts in September.

I kind of see it the same way. Turki will just do whatever TF he wants. Sheeraz is clearly his favorite so he will continue with the exposure and opportunities that other fighters do not get. Having said that, I think a lot of people are re-evaluating Bud's chances against Canelo after last night. It is now clear that Canelo has definitely lost a step or two and could be right for the taking. He could not do to Berlanga what Sheeraz did with ease.

Crawford could be the new undisputed champion at 168 and so if that happens, what next? Crawford will probably retire. Will Canelo vs Sheeraz make sense? I have a feeling Canelo will pick an easier fight.
