Why Sheeraz deserves a shot at Alvarez is bull **** . Alvarez has had to many privileges already. Sheeraz should fight mbilli or Martinez - oh woops Turki Already snapped that one up . No problem’s there it’s a fantastic matchup. Maybe Sheeraz can fight Iglesias then . Let’s wait for Crawford Alvarez first.

Beating Berlanga doesn't earn you a Canelo bag, sorry.

      Sheeraz vs. Pacheco

      Mbilli vs. Charlo

truth is Adames would school sheeraz again and knockout berlanga easy without being hit once. You guys realize Adames and Alimkhanuly are elite7world class guys and they would probably both beat Canelo at that stage even going up to 168

Munguai Berlanga 154 Charlo and Bud all get shots but now Sheeraz potentially getting a shot is a problem?
The Crawford fight is a money grab fight, IMO they should not be fighting but is what they are paying for.

Sheeraz first fight at 168 against a hype job. The only fighter that matters for Canelo is Benavides which he will never fight.

Sheeraz did look to be more settled and confident at the higher weight and maybe it was partly because his team knew that Berlanga isn't as good as the hype. Still, moving up in weight to fight a puncher was a risk. And it paid off this time.

But I feel he owes Adames a rematch. Adames will probabily agree to fight at 168.

Also, it's encouraging to see Andy Lee getting more exposure as a trainer. Always liked him as a fighter, that devastating hook! Working with Manny Steward, he's adopted that Kronk mentality to get his fighters to go for KOs. e.g. Fury in the 2nd Wilder fight. It seems Lee has helped Sheeraz to more utilize that rangy power.

Berlanga is the name in the US what use would it be using Sheeraz as promotional material, most people even in the UK don't even know him.

Arguably his most notable moment is punching Bradley Skeete whilst downed before dispatching Berlanga of course...

But Berlanga being the forefront of the promotional material doesn't mean they expect him to win, naturally he's front and centre for the US market and Hamza was front and centre for the UK...

Turki didn't change his opinion of the fight based on were it was promoted or is that what you're implying.
I didn’t say anyone expected anyone to win, my point was people keep saying berlanga was feed to hamzah when it was berlanga who asked for this fight. He saw a guy moving up in weight after looking vulnerable in his last fight and with a new trainer and thought he would walk through the guy, take his undefeated record and paid dearly for it.

They didn't happen until Canelo hit them, right? Ok, so he's the cause of it. Caleb Plant fell to Canelo's fist, and Charlo almost ****** it up. He fought purely to survive. Most opponents move away from Canelo, so he must hit hard.
Well canelo is a cheater who is full of peds yet he can't ko guys like mungia, berlanga or ryder. If he was fighting legit he would be Paulie maliganggi

He should have done this a few fights ago.

At the end of the day, this fight also says something about Adames. Sheeraz was very gun shy in the second half of that fight and he looked like shyte. Obviously he did not like what Adames had to offer and did not want to mix it up. He had no problem in his previous fight (before Adames) stepping up to an overmatched opponent like he had no problem swingng for the rafters against Berlanga.

Maybe this fight did not show us how good Sheeraz is, maybe it just showed us how bad Berlanga is and how much Canelo has slipped. Ultimately we can see why Canelo is avoiding credible opposition like David Benaviudez and fighting William Sculls, Jamie Munguia and Edgar Berlangas of this world.
