If Canelo gets past Crawford in September there's really nothing at 168 for him.

Maybe just vacate all titles and fight who he wants at whatever weight he wants for the last few fights of his career? I'm sure WBC will create some special belt or title for him in return for a sanctioning fee . . .

What?? He already avoided Morrell and Benavidez. Nobody gonna tell me he wouldn't have posted at least ONE loss against that pair.
Now he is avoiding Mbilli and Pacheco who are the next most deserving of a shot at 168. They would both KO Berlanga too.
Sheeraz, as promising as he is, has not earned a shot at Canelo yet.
Canelo should fight one of Mbilli or Pacheco and the other should fight Sheeraz.
Canelo can do what he likes but he should face his mandatories or get off the fake throne.
We Back Canelo, We Back Alvarez and WBO are an absolute disgrace - can't wait for Turki or Ring to take over them. Everybody knocking Turki but just in boxing terms he gets an 9/10 for me. Khataev would never have got a chance with the other promoters.

Crawford is going to make this whole issue moot in September when he beats Canelo - and decisively so.

I didn't know that beating Berlanga was a bridge to Canelo. People were targeting Berlanga because he is known and beatable.

I think canelo after fighting Crawford will fight one more time, in Mexico and retire,

Canelo: "I've done enough for this sport. I will only fight people I know I can beat. You will continue to buy."

I lost some money betting on Canelo to stop Berlanga. I won it back last night. This fight was more of an indictment against Canelo than anything. He couldn't stop this guy? Craziness! I always thought Canelo was too big and strong for Crawford. Now? I am not so sure.

Last night was about setting up Turki's favored fighters going forward. Puello was absolutely robbed. It was bad to see.
