FANTASTIC performance from Sheeraz! I thought he took a massive risk in taking on a fully fledged Super Middleweight like Berlanga in his first fight at the weight with a new trainer. Especially after the subpar performance against Adames. However, he made EASY work of the loudmouth and showed both great power and a chin at the weight.

As for Canelo, I think that’s probably a step too soon but one more performance like that against Pacheco or Mbilli would make him the next best guy in the division.

Hamzah needs one more contender b4 taking on Canelo.

Mbilli could be that guy. Explosive fight.

All that crap punk-ass Berlanga was talking about getting an easy win, man it was great seeing him dispatched with ease. He has a the emotional IQ of a 12 year old as seen lately and when he bit another man. Talking about going up to heavyweight and practically sharing his spreadsheet about his plans.

He whipped a MF’er even his own family members wanted to lose due to his mouth but Canelo has his hands full with Crawford and may not be a champion come September, only a payday!

This headline is super disrespectful to Crawford, even last night with him in the building, people were acting like he isn't fighting Canelo first....big mistake...that said, NO WAY Crawford fights this monster if he beats Canelo, I don't Canelo will take the fight either, way too dangerous

Sheeraz, as promising as he is, has not earned a shot at Canelo yet.
Canelo should fight one of Mbilli or Pacheco and the other should fight Sheeraz.
Canelo can do what he likes but he should face his mandatories or get off the fake throne.
We Back Canelo, We Back Alvarez and WBO are an absolute disgrace - can't wait for Turki or Ring to take over them. Everybody knocking Turki but just in boxing terms he gets an 9/10 for me. Khataev would never have got a chance with the other promoters.
Turki's Saudi money earned him the chance to setup any fight he wants.

Crawford will take Canelo's belts in September.

What it boils down to is

Canelo hasn't had a KO in 4 years.

His last performance vs Scully was mediocre. Many ppl saying he was just looking for a quick payday.

He is staying clear of the Bivol and Benevidez.

And the dec against Berlanga... versus how Hamzah destroyed him in a couple rounds.

Makes people wonder how good Canelo really is at this stage of his career?
A shell of his former self.
If you strip away all the outer baggage, he isn't proven to be a P4P top 10 guy anymore.

Canelo won`t go anywhere near him. he is busy fighting old welterweights.

Slightly different perspectives but the same action; he can do what he wants and should vacate the titles.
