I kind of see it the same way. Turki will just do whatever TF he wants. Sheeraz is clearly his favorite so he will continue with the exposure and opportunities that other fighters do not get. Having said that, I think a lot of people are re-evaluating Bud's chances against Canelo after last night. It is now clear that Canelo has definitely lost a step or two and could be right for the taking. He could not do to Berlanga what Sheeraz did with ease.

Crawford could be the new undisputed champion at 168 and so if that happens, what next? Crawford will probably retire. Will Canelo vs Sheeraz make sense? I have a feeling Canelo will pick an easier fight.

Crawford is taller and longer reach. Canelo likes to break the body. It will be difficult for Canelo to do this to Crawford. Even before this Sheeraz fight I was surprised by how many people were saying its crazy for Crawford to challenge Canelo at 168.

Honestly, i dont know what happens. But I know one thing for sure - I am excited about this fight.

Turki's statement about challenging Canelo in 2026 is curious. It hints that Canelo will still be champion. I also hints towards an outcome already decided. Lets see. Big Turk owns Ring Magazine, has boatloads of people in the rimming position and is influencing schedule and direction of developing fighters into championship matches they have not warranted or are prepared for.

Turki is driving me nuts where he says he wants to see fighter A fight fighter C when he hasn't beaten fighter B who he has scheduled upcoming. It creates a terrible reason for the fighter to go in there and perform when he knows he has another big paycheck looming on the horizon. He needs to cut that **** out and even if he has plans for the fighter, don't make them or the public aware yet until their upcoming fight is dealt with.

Anytime you break a man's face, like Canelo did to Billy Joe Saunders, or rupture a man's bicep like he did to Callum Smith', that's not a freak accident, it's because he hits hard enough to cause these things to happen.
