Devin Haney a racist too. And so is his father. Devin said how he would “never lose to a whyte boy”. And then his dumas father came out saying how Mexicans are cheaters

So that makes Lopez's racist bs ok? Let's be honest, the statements by Lopez about Black folks are much more ****ed up than Devin saying that he will never lose to a white boxer, which he said when he was basically a teenager.

Both guys are obviously not likeable (forget their dads, ugh). But Lopez is at a whole different level of bs. On top of it, his spectacle is dumb and boring.

And this will be a waste of everyone's time and money. Hopefully we'll see one of them disappear after this fight, most likely Haney.

I wouldn't call either of these guys pure counter-punchers. Haney has turned himself into a pure runner of late, but Lopez can fight equally well on the front and rear foot. Haney normally enjoys significant hand and foot speed advantages over his opponents, but he has neither of these against Lopez. He also doesn't have any advantage in overall craft and he's up against a pretty clear power deficit against Teo, even though Teo is the naturally smaller guy. I actually think this fight is going to be an interesting and exciting high-level chess match that might just turn into a barn burner before long. Here's hoping anyway. Lopez TKO 10.

A boxer/mover vs. counter-puncher. Teo has shown the output (vs. Claggett) and athleticism to be a decent front-foot fighter, but he prefers to lure his opponent in. He's weaker when he has to lead the dance. He's probably gonna have to chase Haney, who has a slight reach advantage. There may be a clear power difference between Haney/Lopez, but that doesn't mean Lopez will be able to land enough to rattle Haney. All we can reasonably predict is that Haney won't be winning by stoppage.

They both have styles that'll bring the worst out of each other. Especially in Lopez's case, Haney looks terrible every fight whether he wins close or dominates.

Both their annoying fathers/trainers will make the fight about themselves so maybe the press conferences might provide some form of cheap entertainment.

This is a GREAT fight on paper regardless of how it goes down in the ring. Kudos to both fighter's for stepping up and taking a risk at a point where a loss could be seriously detrimental.

People should be grateful that these kind of matchups are happening much more frequently and in the fighters primes unlike the past!

This will be another "very tactical" fight, meaning Zzzzz. Haney was scared of Ramirez's power, and ran all night, so just imagine how cautious he will be against Lopez, who will just sit back and wait for Haney to make a mistake.

Has Lopez shown significant power at 140 and above? No. When was the last time he had a KO? That's what I thought.

Though I agree with your overall point, Haney fought Ramirez at a 143 catchweight. I'm not sure why all of these guys are delaying the move.

Haney/Lopez should use this bout to acclimate to the full limit. If Lopez really wanted to move up, he could've done it vs. Norman last year. Then Ennis would be chasing him.
