Haney is a good fighter, but as someone below said, "Garcia exposed him." In my view, Loma took 7, maybe 8, of the rounds against Haney. Haney was lucky to be on the right side of a bad decision. So, Loma exposed Haney, as well. Haney is not great, nor, coincidentally, is Lopez, who seems to be inconsistent. Should be a good fight, but could be boring.

Lopez can’t cut the ring off, so…..

Damn, why did you go that far back for Teofimo? lol. You could at least have stopped at Commey.

This has sleeper written all over it. The only chance is Lopez getting a bit reckless to try and make activity against Haney whose going to be on his bike the entire fight.

The last thing I'd actually want is to see Lopez lose because of getting reckless due to the lack of activity from Haney who isn't afraid to bore out the crowd. I don't see any "entertainment" value from this fight beyond perhaps the press conference leading up to it between Bill Haney and Teofimo and even his father.

This is a fight that will be 90% build up and hype, 10% enjoyment of the actual main event.

Solid fight. Would be more interested in if it was at 140. Probably won’t buy it.

I do not think I am going to put time aside to watch this one. I'd rather just watch the Tank fight

I wouldn't call either of these guys pure counter-punchers. Haney has turned himself into a pure runner of late, but Lopez can fight equally well on the front and rear foot. Haney normally enjoys significant hand and foot speed advantages over his opponents, but he has neither of these against Lopez. He also doesn't have any advantage in overall craft and he's up against a pretty clear power deficit against Teo, even though Teo is the naturally smaller guy. I actually think this fight is going to be an interesting and exciting high-level chess match that might just turn into a barn burner before long. Here's hoping anyway. Lopez TKO 10.

The press conferences where the whack-job fathers will make "eloquent contributions" promise more entertainment than the fight itself.
                  And no PPV necessary.

There's only so many former 140lbers he can fight though. If he keeps winning, he'll have to eventually face a natural WW.

After that last performance, Haney should not be allowed on TV in a major fight unless his paycheck is withheld and paid based on his performance in the fight. Dude is basically going to run a track meet again and make it a boring fight. Teo was outboxed by Ortiz and that Spanish guy before and it will likely be the same playbook for Haney. You hope Teo has learned a thing or two from those fights in how to cut the ring off. As much of a dufus Teo is, you gotta root for him here 'cos he 'll be the one trying to make the fight.
