Interestingly enough, there was a post on the history board as to whether Inoue is the greatest fighter in history from Japan, or whether its still Harada.
A point was made that there is literally no fighter out there that Inoue could beat (within reason) that would be a better name on his resume than Jofre was for Harada. But does that mean Inoue can never be greater than Harada?
This is why I think you have to mix in the eye test as well as resume. If when you watch Inoue you feel like he is better than Usyk, and can honestly explain why (without bias, deflecting, or logical fallacies) then thats a fair argument to make. However, I imagine one could make a similar argument for Usyk being better than Inoue.
