This news confirms that Canelo will continue his career at 168lbs until the day he retires. Based on your logic, a good fighter hops a division and instantly magically becomes next in line? What about the top 10 before him that have been in the division? I’m certain they’d have an issue with someone magically ranked. That’s why boxing has been and is a sham. Today’s “champs” hop from division to division, corrupt sanctioning bodies rank them and viola they are immediately ranked to fight for a belt.

It would be best for Beneavidez to at least fight one of the super elite fighters in the division, like Dmitry Bivol or Arthur Beterbiev. That the potential fight between Benavidez and Alvarez should only happen at 175 pounds, due to David Benavidez not being an active Super Middle Weight fighter since 2023. Canelo Alvarez from my observation is motivated by business, and acquiring World titles. To conclude: In regards to Arthur Beterbiev vs Dmitry Bivol III 'Beteriev deserves to be granted a trilogy fight against Dmitry Bivol. Artur Beterbiev could have so easily retired after beating Dmitry Bivol in their first fight, but instead as a competitor he obliged to have a rematch. The fight between the two fighters is still the most intriguing and best match up to make in the entire Light Heavyweight Division. And the fight makes absolute sense for both fighters, it is the one fight were they still have the most to gain from a potential win' etc.

First of all the biggest ducker was Rid**** Bowe. Second, Canelo went up in weight to fight an established champion and dared to be great, no shame on that lost. Third, Canelo is blatantly ducking David. Too bad because David had the belts twice and lost them outside the ring.

I'd forgotten that IBF was due first. So WBC is disrespecting the IBF, AND Turki, and Bivol with this. Sets a very bad precedent that may ultimately stand in the way of unifications.

He gets no pass and heīs not White. Heīs part East Asian, part slav, basically semi White. Slavs are not considered White like the Germans, Brits, etc. Bivol looks Korean. Many Mexicans are "whiter" then him. Besides, color is not important, once you go to the beach you get a tan.

You jealous of Canelo?? Donīt be ignorant, Canelo s not White in the sense he is not Anglo Saxon. He is Mexican. Latinos, like Turks, Italians, Arabs, etc can have different complexions.
