Although it was no fault of his own, Stevenson was paid handsomely to fight a replacement fighter.
In good faith, he should take a cut to face Zepeda, especially if Stevenson believes he will win.
I believe Stevenson will embarrass Zepeda. If he was smart, he'd take that fight.
Taking this fight would be a wise investment on Stevenson's part. He gets closer to the A side in negotiations against anyone that he faces, to include Tank (and/or Roach).....after stepping in and beating Zepeda.
Stevenson is an intelligent boxer. Now it's time to match this intelligence as a business man.

Oscar is secretly on the phone with Turki and Hearn discussing how they can make Shugah Shakur the black villian. Eddie Hearn signed Andrade hoping he was going to lure Jermall over to Dazn. That failed and Andrade was forced to fight all Euros and he ended his contract playing the black villian role in his own home state. Devin left Showtime to sign with Hearn and Dazn and they did to booster his profile. Now Devin is getting laughed at and booed by Mexicans on GBP shows. SAD! If Boots resigns with Dazn he will end up being the black villian to Virgil Ortiz. Horrible!!!

With Tank rematching Roach in June, Shakur more than likely will have to settle for a Zepeda purse bid. I think Oscar will purposely bid low just so Shakur will turn down the fight due to the low offer. Keeps Zepeda from fighting Shakur and making it appear that Shakur is the one avoiding the fight.
