If I'm not mistaken, the article stated that Stevenson won't accept the fight because he's not happy with the offer.

Although it was no fault of his own, Stevenson was paid handsomely to fight a replacement fighter.

In good faith, he should take a cut to face Zepeda, especially if Stevenson believes he will win.

I believe Stevenson will embarrass Zepeda. If he was smart, he'd take that fight.

Taking this fight would be a wise investment on Stevenson's part. He gets closer to the A side in negotiations against anyone that he faces, to include Tank (and/or Roach).....after stepping in and beating Zepeda.

Stevenson is an intelligent boxer. Now it's time to match this intelligence as a business man.

For Shakur to take the fight , that is exactly what’s gonna have to happen
Not sure how much considering he refused 3 million a fight

I think it had more to do with being stuck to a 5 fight deal at 3 million per fight, instead of just a 2 or possibly 3 fight deal. I think Shakur would be ok with 3 million per fight for 2 fights but would want to make more after the 2nd fight. Just my opinion of course....

Fishnets just might do that, but there will be other more attractive bids.

Nothing wrong with being the black villian, all you gotta do is win the big fight.

That’s it , he wants top dollar and as we’ve seen in the past , he’s just not worth it unless he’s fighting at home selling seats and even then we witnessed people leaving fights early
Didn’t help that he fought an electrician his last fight and wasn’t that dominating win he would of needed
                    Lots of cons
