If true, those numbers will make the fan-proclaimed face of boxing look really pathetic when the Tank-Martin makes significantly less this summer. It would also prove that his last match PPV was thanks to Garcia given that fighting Haney gave similar numbers....Regge likes this.

I had minimal interest prior to the fight but now I am interested in how much PPV the match got, just for comparison to Garcia-Tank and the future Tank-Martin.Regge likes this.

Crawford will win regardless, but Madrimov is a stronger opponent than Boots by comparison.

Everyone so fast to throw away Spence a hypejob now that he lost. I'm more interested in when the heck Fulton is fighting next.

My real life boxing friends are all Japanese and lives in Japan so that question doesn't really help Boots' case. Those who are casual definitely don't know both (more likely to know Crawford because his name gets mentioned a lot with regards to Inoue). Super hardcore fans who keep track of just title...

Saudi may be hard to go yourself, but given this day and age of internet if the alternate choice was not happening then I think fans will happily take the former. I for one would rather have Beterbiev vs Bivol happen in Saudi over Beterbiev retiring in the next few years with the match never having...

I think (or at least I HOPE) Crawford finally dropped the idea of a Canelo payday and instead decided to go for potential history and legacy as a boxer before he retires, so if Boots manages to get a title at 154 I think he will be willing to fight him especially if he's the last piece to the 154 undisputed...Oregonian likes this.

Probably because Crawford fans would rather see him get something out of fighting an unknown dude, and Madrimov offers way more than Ennis in that aspect? And Crawford, if he can't get a cash grab match then atleast would like to get something that adds on to his career. Bluntly put, people say Ismail...

All I hope is that Nery actually sticks to his words and go offensive. Going full defensive for the first two thirds of the match (or the full match like Butler) before finally going on the offensive stretches out the match needlessly. Unfortunately there seems to be some who fight Inoue thinking that...

If he is serious he might want to try to speed up the process. Once early 2025 rolls around I can see the champions of featherweight all start stalling while waiting for Inoue cash grab opportunity.

Haney will die (literally) if he tries to go back to135 lbs, regardless of Loma.

I believe the only thing that will prevent Bam from going undisputed at 115 is if the rest of the champions refuse to fight him, or he outgrows the division before he can finish.

Boots should be getting on his knees begging for a Garcia fight because with Crawford up in 154 that is the only chance at any money at 147 for him.

I think recovery wise it still matters. Sure they probably rehydrated over 20 lbs anyway but not having to shave off that last 3 lbs probably mattered a fair amount....

Tank isn't fighting Garcia at 140, let alone 143 or 145 or whatever Garcia mentioned.

Its essentially a catchweight fight above 140, it was said the belt won't be in line prior to the fight because Garcia didn't make weight. That isn't special treatment but applies for all.real raw likes this.

Haney was overrated and shouldn't be undefeated to begin with.
Garcia was unprofessional and is still a beltless social media boy.
Tank will continue to be overrated fighting cherry picks or dehydrated guys or both.
They all are true.Smash likes this.

IF he had made weight, I would've been dancing in my room because Garcia would've won a legit title match against an actual belt owning champion in Haney. Haney would've also had lost his belts, but unfortunately as of right now even with a loss he is still a 140 champion.
Unfortunately...

I'm not a fan of Haney or Cryan so whichever wins was a lose-lose for me because it meant one of Garcia or Daddy Haney was going to be spewing **** for the rest of the year.
The great thing from this result is now Haney has lost his zero that he should've lost to Loma anyway, one less undefeated...
