  • I thought I read somewhere Plant/McCumby is canned along with the whole card. If true Fulton is SOL....

  • I thought they canned it because of some "injury" the opponent got. They seem to have zero money to be able to do more than 5 PPV events per year...they only had three so far with nothing on rest of July oi August....

  • I could be wrong but he’s the only fighter in history that I can recall who has won titles at 105, 108, 112 and 115

These types of America-centric mindset led lack of knowledge is exactly why the money matches of lighter weight divisions mostly all seem to aim to go to Japan these...

  • If this means easier path to getting a legit negotiation opportunity (and not WBA trying to mastermind and failing) for an Inoue-MJ in December then good for me.

I lost a lot of interest after the idiocy he pulled in July but out of curiosity which company promotes Goodman? If not one of...

  • Yeah, I don't bet but if I were to, depending on the odds I'd be willing to drop cash on any of the following and won't be surprised with any of the three results:
    • Crawford KO win
    • Madrimov KO win
    • Crawford dec. win
The only one I won't bother to consider is Madrimov via decision.

  • Yeah, and both of them are on the list so what is the problem? I personally like Bud but in reality, Canelo nor Crawford are no where near the tier remotely close to those two in terms of cultural impact and that is a fact. My sister who watches zero boxing knows the names of Mayweather and Pacquiao....

  • Korean boxing is currently in a "dip" era where they are in the lows for talent and belts compared to their historical peak. In a way similar to Philippines right now except worse....

  • If there is actually a good time to fight an old legend, it is facing another old legend without a belt involved. The current crop of champions at bantam are too young and in prime for them to have a chance anyway, but an Elder Chocolatito vs Elder Donaire 118 non-title fight will still have enough...

  • Regardless of Ennis' opinion the hard fact of life is that Pac now will still get more money for his next "fight" than what Ennis will get for his next fight and more.

  • Is the so called prime Margarito in this case also allowed to use his special handwraps, because the only known Margarito without handwraps hasn't shown much regardless of prime or not.

  • I agree in that Madrimov won't win a decision in US against Crawford even if the world ended because the judges will be biased, but I also have Crawford winning on a KO so judges can be Madrimov's dad and mom and brother if it makes him feel better.

I mean who was that dude whining about...

  • ...I actually didn't read the ranking until after I posted, but forget tennis there are way too many basketball AND baseball AND football scrubs on this ranking to borrow the OP's words if anything.

I guess ESPN bias, but frankly some guys listed on that list isn't even in the top 30 in...

  • You know that is like a baseball fan saying "I'm no boxing master but those so called boxing champions are a joke. They got multiple so-called champions in the same divisions at the same time and they all are around only 20 wins or so in their career, and even this dude named Muhammed Ali who is...

  • He's fighting Madrimov in August for the first fight of this year. Unless you expect Saudi to go lunatic absurd money thrown at him (ie 50 million or something insane) for end of December to fight a random body at 154, I don't expect him to fight until next spring at the absolute earliest, and more...

  • As someone who hates the American style "marinate and wait 6 years to fight", wierd as it may be coming from me if this fight is to happen it is still too early just yet...not wait 5 years but as in, one more year would make it ideal.

Assuming he keeps his schedule trend, Inoue...

  • I expected a KO win by Nakatani but not this fast, dang. All KO results can be exciting but on the other hand, to those that went to Ryogoku to watch it live (I went to the last one but not this one do to work schedule) I wonder if they got their times worth...3R KO-3R TKO-1R KO in between lots of fillers,...
